He was born long after innocence ceased to exist.
In a world where sanity had dissolved into a sea of uncertainties,
Madness shaped reality.
He came into this world as the son of the greatest madman, Genesis June.
That name remained with him long after his father was gone,
and so did the burden that came with it.
Unsurprisingly, his psyche did not survive this world untainted.
Although Everest was not mad and could not bend reality,
he was insane in his own way.
He worked—
Harder than saints.
Colder than deities.
Shrewder than men.
Until he became… something else.
By his teenage years, he was already greater than men.
His mind too careful.
His body too capable.
His will to deliberate.
But that still wasn't enough.
Eventually, Everest made up his mind.
He was going to become the maddest man in history.
And then he would be satisfied.
Then he would be happy.
Then he would be him.
Where else could a teenager find happiness but high school?
And if he were to be mad—
