The man chuckled. "My apologies, I seem to have startled you. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ginjo Kugo, and I am your kind."
Chad asked, "My kind?"
Kugo saw that Chad was very tense, looking as if he was about to make a move, and explained, "Yes, don't worry, I mean no harm. If I wanted to do anything to you, would I still be standing here chatting with you?"
