Shin glanced at the box. "As for this, when Matsumoto comes looking for you, hand it to her personally."
Rangiku would certainly come looking for Gin after hearing about his situation. Shin only needed to tell her where Gin was located.
"I'll find you a place to stay first."
...
Seireitei.
First Division Barracks.
Shunsui, Unohana, Chojiro, and several other Captains and Vice-Captains were kneeling before the tatami mat.
Yamamoto had woken up after receiving treatment from Unohana.
Yamamoto asked, "Where is Aizen?"
Chojiro bowed low and said, "The attempt to seal Aizen failed. Currently, he has temporarily retreated."
Yamamoto was silent for a moment. "Was it Shin?"
"Yes. Shin sliced Aizen in half with a single strike, but Aizen evolved again using the power of the Hogyoku. For unknown reasons, he has retreated back to Hueco Mundo."
Yamamoto looked somewhat dazed. The Shinigami had been utterly defeated by Aizen, and in the end, it was a human who repelled him.
What a disgrace.
He had always been concerned about relying on human power. During the previous Hueco Mundo punitive expedition, he had disagreed with appointing Shin as a captain. However, it was an order from Central 46, and he had no choice but to comply.
Now, Shin had grown to a point where even he had to take him seriously.
"Captain Commander, there is another important matter."
Chojiro's words pulled Yamamoto out of his stupor.
Chojiro then recounted the casualties in the noble district and Central 46.
"What?!"
Yamamoto sat up, his shock mixed with fury.
"Aizen! How dare he repeatedly..."
He trailed off, then asked, "What is the situation now?"
"Most noble clans were wiped out. The few that have survivors or surviving branch families are already preparing for funerals and reconstruction efforts."
"As for Central 46, it will likely be impossible to reconstitute it."
Within a few short months, two iterations of Central 46 had been annihilated by Aizen. Even if the remaining nobles could gather enough personnel, few would dare to take the positions.
All crucial affairs within Seireitei must now be handled entirely by Yamamoto.
"Issue the order. Convene a Captains' Meeting immediately."
"Yes, sir."
Everyone then withdrew from the barracks, leaving Yamamoto alone in thought. He was contemplating whether his past decisions had been correct.
Yamamoto recalled that Isshin, the former Captain of the Tenth Division, had reported the appearance of modified Menos in the Human World, but he hadn't taken it seriously. Now, it seemed certain that those modified Menos were related to Aizen.
If he had taken it seriously back then, perhaps he could have discovered the signs of Aizen's betrayal earlier.
Was restricting Zaraki and Unohana reasonable?
Yamamoto had appointed Zaraki as the Captain of the Eleventh Division and personally taught him swordsmanship.
This was not to help him grow stronger, but rather to make Zaraki abandon the path of the sword. That way, Kenpachi's power would remain controllable and wouldn't pose a threat to Seireitei.
In the end, just as he expected, Zaraki gave up after only one day.
The same applied to Unohana.
Before joining the Gotei 13, Unohana was known as the greatest villain in Soul Society history, a ruthless killer who was extremely aggressive.
Yamamoto defeated Unohana a thousand years ago and took her under his command. However, shortly after she began studying Kaido, he appointed her as the Captain of the Fourth Division.
He strictly ordered Unohana not to engage in direct combat, fearing she might lose control.

Karakura Town.
With the return of the Shinigami, the real Karakura Town was transferred back from Soul Society to the Human World.
Shin found an apartment for Gin. Issues regarding his identity would have to be resolved later.
Returning home, Shin collapsed onto the sofa. The great battle had exhausted him.
It was time to check the rewards.
'System, start the gacha.'
The familiar gacha interface flashed across his vision.
One purple and four white!
Seeing this, Shin muttered, "I'm a bit unlucky this time."
As expected, the four white templates granted him minor life skills and basic combat skills.
However, the purple template was quite interesting.
The Template displayed a brown-haired girl with twin tails tied with ribbons, wearing a school uniform.
Shirai Kuroko!
The Ojou-sama from A Certain Magical Index, she is Misaka Mikoto's junior and roommate, possessing the Level 4 ability "Teleport."
[Template : Shirai Kuroko]
[Teleport: Instantly transports anything touched by the skin (including the user) to a distant location, bypassing spatial rules.]
This ability was excellent.
Shin remembered that the principle of "Teleport" was to force the teleported object to displace whatever was at the target location, regardless of the material.
For example, one could use paper to cut through a diamond, or teleport a person into a concrete pillar.
However, it seemed Kuroko's teleportation distance and the mass of objects she could move were limited, and the accuracy also had restrictions.
Therefore, Shin decided to go out and test it. He first tried teleporting objects to test the distance. He estimated it to be around 500 meters.
Unfortunately, his dream of freely teleporting across the three worlds was shattered.
Next, he tested heavier objects, such as cars and large trees, which posed no problem. Finally, he went to the suburbs and tried to move a small hill, which resulted in failure.
Then, Shin used the ability to move his own body, performing continuous high-speed movement within Karakura Town. He found that with his current power, even constant teleportation placed no burden on him.
Now, unless he needed to hover, he wouldn't need to use his Wings of Crimson anymore. But the precision of the teleportation still needed improvement.
Having finished testing, Shin was very satisfied with the ability, as it did not carry Kuroko's side effects.
Due to the overly complex calculations, Kuroko was prone to anxiety and confusion, and continuous use of "Teleport" resulted in a one-second gap.

Captains' Meeting Room.
All the Captains had assembled. Those who were recently recovering from serious injuries, like Toshiro and Jushiro, still looked very weak.
They discussed three main issues: the judgment concerning Aizen, the noble clans, and Kisuke and his allies.
Mayuri reported on the changes regarding the Garganta.
While previously in Hueco Mundo, he had successfully analyzed the structure of the Garganta using Szayelaporro's research data, which helped them travel quickly to the Human World.
But now, Mayuri found that he couldn't open the Garganta at all. He speculated that Aizen had altered the structure of the Garganta.
Based on this, everyone concluded that Aizen would not easily initiate hostilities in the short term.
Regarding the century-old judgment against Kisuke, Yoruichi, Tessai, and the Visoreds, everyone unanimously agreed that the judgment should be lifted, and every effort should be made to bring them back to Soul Society.
After all, Seireitei was severely short on fighting strength following Aizen's betrayal.
Finally, Yamamoto issued an order.
All members of the Gotei 13, including Captains and Vice-Captains, must intensify their training and get stronger to counter the threat posed by Aizen.
Unohana would represent Soul Society and travel to the Human World to discuss the terms of return with the Visoreds.
