"You want my help? And you expect me to just do it? " Liebe questioned Asta. "A deal with a de—"
"Needs a price, yada this yada that. *groans* Can we skip that? I am supposed to be stopping a literal Angel from slaughtering a city."
"-And what does that have to do with me...? I refuse."
Asta raises a eyebrow in annoyance, "Fine then, I will just go fight the bitch who made the entire underworld and tree qliphoth by myself."
Asta begans walking away from Liebe, acting uncaring and shrugging off his influence.
....
.....
"Wait!" Liebe stopped Asta just like a cliche suspense storyline, " ... I don't know if you are indeed the Asta brat... But, if it helps kill more devils, you can count me in."
"You sure got a lot of hatred don't you, Liebe" Asta confusingly turns back. "...So how about a contract? "
"A contract...?"

Meanwhile, in skies above, Conrad and Angel were going toe-to-toe with each other. The two of them were bombarding each with over dozens of different magic tools and spells they had sealed for use long ago.
Arrows of lighting, blades of winds, swords and javelins of light accompanied by hundreds of balls of fire turned the world below into a literal hellscape.
The capital was crying, it's citizens crying as they watched the misfortune and destruction fall upon everything they loved.
"Wahh! Mom, Dad,*sniff* Where are you...? *sniff* I am scared!"
Within such destruction, the cries of lone child repeated with the sounds of explosions.
However the child failed to notice a fireball heading straight for him, his eyes still closed with tears as he didn't dodge.
And as soon as the fireball reached him, A giant stone hand swiped him away while covering him from the shrapnel followed the explosion.
...
Wondering what just happened, the kid innocently looked up at the armored person holding onto him while tearing up with snot and tears.
"W-Who are you, Aunty? "
"-Aunty!?" Exclaimed Sol in disbelief as her mood immediately worsened.
Sol marron, a member of the blue rose squad and one of few members who didn't go to watch Triumph tournament was now regretting her choice for the sole reason of being called an Aunty.
Nevertheless staying out in the open was no different than a death sentence right now.
So as she should, Sol immediately dashes towards the emergency war bunker while meeting other survivors and magic knights while trying to help each other the best as she could.
"This is hell. Literally...! Just when I got my vacation, this crap happens...! " Sol dodges a literal meteor, again. " I have to get to the bunker! "
As she Ran forward within her Golem type exo-armor, Sol observed her surroundings while cursing everything she could think of.
She cursed the king with all her heart. She wished that the corrupt nobles die in this hellfire. She wa—
Boom
A lightning bolt hits near a meter away from Sol, causing a explosion that engulfed her while rupturing a ear drum before she was sent crashing into a tavern to the side.
"I want a vacation. " She said regretfully, her mind numbing down under the pain and damage caused by the shockwave as well as the electrocution she just suffered.
She begans turning around her head, finding dozens of other people taking shelter inside the tavern, each praying for their life and safety.
The sight made her chuckle. A God was the something she didn't care about, her bigger sister Charlotte was the one she followed and none other.
The mention of Charlotte rekindled her heart, the imagination of all her blue rose sisters crying after her death was nauseating for her to think about.
She tries to stand up and failed, however as she tried, another robed person also barges into the tavern for shelter.
"Huh? Aren't you...? "
" Langris Voude, at your service." Langris makes a small bow before standing back up after hearing another explosion, "This place isn't safe, *looking around* can you move?"
"Maybe... In a minute or so."
"A minute!? We would dead by then!" Langris sighs, "If only that punk Finral was here. This job would be much easier!"
In the end, Langris looked at the dozen or so survivors and found his sense of duty overcoming his fear of death. He couldn't leave these people behind, his pride as a noble wouldn't have that way.
Hesitatingly he pulls out his grimoire, Blasting a proper hole in the walls with Spacial magic before throwing a orb at Sol.
The sudden orb scares the hell out of Sol, making recoil in fear as she watched a literal sphere of death approach her.
However just before it reached her, the orb slides to the side, shaving off most of her Rocky armor while leaving her flabbergasted.
"What the heck was that!? Are you trying to kill me!" Sol cried out in rage, her voice most pitched than ever.
Langris however, didn't care, "Those things would only slow us down." He said, "I have no use for useless burdens."
"YOU COULD HAVE TOLD ME JACKASS!" Sol roars louder at the nonchalant reply.
But despite her bubbling Anger, Sol was actually thankful for the help since it would have taken a lot of mana to move or reconstruct her armor.
In the end she could only grumble in dissatisfaction and stand back to her feet once more. She looks ahead, taking in the sight of literal chaos falling from the sky before bracing herself.
Meanwhile The other survivors also approached them, six person per Mage as they all sprinted out of the tavern in full speed they could muster.
"How pathetic! " Sol thinks as she bites her own lip in frustration, " He looks the same as me but there is a clear gap in our strength. Is this who I am, a weak girl in need of saving? "
The helplessness frustrated Sol, filling her heart with self hate and loathing for herself. She slams her hands into the ground, turning into a sliding mud platform as she calls out to Langris.
"Jump on! We are going straight to the Bunker! "
Langris nods, jumping onto the platform as they all began sliding forward at high speeds.
The escape became a shooting game, leaving Langris as the gunner and Sol as the driver. The meteor became the targets, being destroyed by spacial magic before they crashed near the group as they all made their way to the edge of the city.
A minute later, Sol takes a left turn and found herself looking at the bunker as a hope ignites within everyone. Their safety and survival was just within their grasp, turning their frowns into thankful smiles.
It was this moment their luck runs out, the bunker was closed just before they reached it, it's barrier forming right in their faces.
The mud platform slams into the barrier, it's pieces flying in every direction as the group found themselves slammed into a invisible shield.
"Who did that!? " Sol exclaims in rage, "Which bastard closed the barrie—"
"Stop, " Langris grabs Sol's shoulder, shaking his head sideways as he pointed ahead. "There is no point in this, they won't open it."
The words were directed at the Corrupt nobles within, the ones who, even in the face of death, couldn't care about others except themselves.
The barrier was erected not by the mages but by the bunker's runeslate, a runeslate that only nobles can temper with.
The despair took over everyone in the Sol's group including herself. Standing outside, they were nothing more than food for chaos, just another one it's victims.
They looked at the two figure fighting in the sky, watching as another slightly bigger meteor was thrown, this time towards the bunker right where they stood.
"I can't stop something that big" langris commented Regretfully. " I hope I meet that Asta bastard in afterlife, at least I could prove I am stronger there."
Sol on the other hand felt despair but the mention of Asta made her grit her teeth.
Ever since she became a magic knight, following in her Sister's footsteps was her only goal. Even if she was going to die, she would rather struggling just like Asta did in the Parliament, struggling until she dies.
However before she could say anything, a voice startled everyone as a blurry figures flashes right behind the two.
"Did somebody call me?"
The meteor somehow stopped, halting in its place as it began hovering in the air. The shocked Sol and Langris couldn't even react as they were grabbed by their waist and tossed onto a giant cart sized Sword.
" The bunker on the eastern gate is still open. Tighteen your grips, we are gonna fly to the bunker!"
The sword pierces into the sky, followed by a two winged figure with Dark pulsing Armor.
After a while, Sol finally looks back, her eyes stuck on Asta as she almost fainted out of fear. " Y-ya-YOU ARE ALIVE!?"
"... Can we talk later? I still have to fight those two monsters, " Asta says while pointing at Conrad and Angel, " I am a busy man you know."
"Bu—"
Blink ... -Slam!
Asta flashes from Sol's vision appearing above before he splits a meteor to hundreds of pieces with a single strike of Devil-Dweller.
The display of strength completely baffles Sol, her belief thrown into a conundrum as the sight left her in disbelief.
She immediately grew envious, Her mind stopping to a stand as she could only see the sight of the meteors being destroyed alongside the spells while Asta guarded them to the other side of the city.
She and the others could only silently watch as they were taken to the bunker. However there was no gentle landing As asta just flipped the sword, throwing each of them into dirt covered ground inside before flying right back to the skies.
The people watched the kingdom's Devil knight that appeared once more. This time stronger than ever but still as helpful as he way before dying to the nobles.
