Chapter 487 - Chapter 487

"Maybe Ren has his own considerations," Izayoi said lazily, hands in his pockets. "But Black Rabbit, you said it yourself, didn't you? You want 'No Name' to reclaim its former glory."

He tilted his head slightly, golden eyes gleaming with mischief.

"If that's the case, then pulling Ren into the Community seems like a pretty solid choice."

Black Rabbit hesitated.

Izayoi continued, his tone turning more serious.

"Even if you don't want to admit it, you saw the strength he showed earlier. When he fought me in the forest, he was definitely holding back."

He grinned.

"And during that little 'Gift Game' you tried to trap us in, he didn't just show brute force. The guy's sharp. He knows how to think."

Truthfully, from the moment Izayoi decided to join "No Name," his first strategic thought had been to drag Ren Kuroda in with him.

At the beginning, Izayoi had joined purely because it sounded fun.

But after learning about "No Name's" circumstances, he'd realized something else—

Rebuilding a fallen Community under the looming shadow of a Demon Lord…

Restoring it to its former glory.

Even surpassing it.

That was a challenge worth taking on.

And once Izayoi committed to something, he had no intention of quitting halfway.

He would make "No Name" the strongest Community in the Eastern District.

That was now his personal declaration.

For "No Name," what they lacked most was talent.

In Little Garden, almost everything could be obtained through Gift Games.

Which meant the ability to participate in them—and to win—was paramount.

Right now, "No Name" didn't even have a name or a banner.

If they wanted others to remember them, they needed something to stand as a symbol.

Izayoi had already thought of their future slogan.

"No Name"—the Community that exists to defeat Demon Lords.

If people thought of Demon Lords, they'd think of them.

Branding through ambition.

But a slogan without results was nothing more than a joke.

Given their current state, forget defeating a Demon Lord—

They barely had enough members to participate in public Gift Games.

Black Rabbit, as one of the "Little Garden Nobles," earned far more serving as a referee than competing herself.

Jin, the current leader, was—

Izayoi glanced at him.

A total weakling.

That meant, without Black Rabbit participating, "No Name" currently had exactly three combat-capable members:

Izayoi.Asuka.Yō.

Izayoi didn't yet fully understand Asuka's or Yō's Gifts.

But he knew one thing for certain—

Ren possessed power equal to, if not greater than, his own.

And more importantly—

Ren wasn't just muscle.

From the earlier Gift Game loophole alone, it was obvious he had a strategic mind.

Izayoi didn't yet understand the true standard behind Little Garden's "seven-digit" classification.

But since he had already mentally appointed himself as "No Name's" tactical advisor—

He knew recruiting Ren would bring nothing but advantages.

As things stood, the Community was filled with tiny, non-combatant kids.

If not for Black Rabbit's status and income, "No Name" would've dissolved long ago.

Even at a mere seven-digit Outer Gate, no one would willingly join such a Community.

Let alone "talent."

"I understand everything you're saying, Mr. Izayoi," Black Rabbit replied softly. "Of course I want Mr. Ren to join 'No Name.'"

Her ears drooped slightly.

"But how could those children possibly defeat him in a Gift Game?"

Izayoi smirked faintly.

Black Rabbit continued, more seriously now.

"You've only just arrived in Little Garden, so you might not fully understand the strength hierarchy here."

She paused.

"But based on the power you and Mr. Ren displayed during your fight in the forest… both of you already meet the standard of a five-digit class."

"Five-digit?" Izayoi blinked.

He didn't believe himself invincible in this world.

But hearing that his evaluation was merely "five-digit"—

He let out a self-deprecating chuckle.

"Guess I've still got a long way to go, huh?"

However—

While Izayoi seemed mildly dissatisfied—

Jin, who had been quietly standing to the side like background furniture, suddenly cried out in shock.

"Five-digit strength?! Black Rabbit, is that true? Mr. Izayoi really possesses five-digit-level power?!"

"Yes," Black Rabbit nodded firmly. "From what I observed, both Mr. Ren and Mr. Izayoi meet five-digit standards."

She glanced toward Asuka and Yō.

"And Miss Asuka and Miss Yō possess extremely powerful Gifts as well—far beyond seven-digit level."

Izayoi was over there thinking his evaluation was mediocre.

Meanwhile—

Jin looked like he'd just won the lottery.

Because at the Outer Gate, five-digit-class fighters were extraordinary.

Little Garden was divided into seven layers.

But the absolute strongest beings were two-digit existences.

As for one-digit—

Whether they could even be called "living beings" was debatable.

Five-digit might sound low on paper.

But in a world that encompassed mythologies from every era and region—

Dragon species.Gods.Star spirits.

Earning a five-digit evaluation was already remarkable.

In fact, some weaker gods—or even divine descendants—

Didn't even reach five-digit.

Jin's excitement was genuine.

They had sent out invitations to another world with the mentality of a desperate gamble.

And yet—

The ones who answered possessed such overwhelming Gifts.

The probability was microscopic.

It really was like winning the lottery.

Of course, as Black Rabbit clarified—

Although Ren and Izayoi met five-digit standards, they were not considered top-tier within that bracket.

At best, they were average five-digit combatants.

"So," Izayoi said thoughtfully, "Ren and I are barely five-digit. The young lady and Yō, if measured by six-digit standards…"

He folded his arms.

"Our Community might be small, but standing firm at a seven-digit Outer Gate shouldn't be difficult, right?"

Earlier, Black Rabbit and Jin had hyped up "No Name" so dramatically—

"Strongest in the Eastern District," and all that—

That Izayoi had initially assumed the Seventh Outer Gate was filled with monsters of similar caliber.

But judging from Jin's reaction just now—

Their current lineup wasn't bad at all.

Not bad?

Izayoi's grin slowly widened.

No.

It was excellent.

Which only made one thing clearer—

They absolutely needed Ren Kuroda on board.

Because if five-digit was merely "average" for Ren—

Then just how far did that half-smiling, half-demon detective intend to go?
