Josefina was not prepared for this much speed, the wind slamming against her face and tearing past her ears while the road blurred into long streaks beneath them, her heart racing almost as fast as the machine itself. She smiled after a while and held Max tight.
Both arms wrapped fully around his waist as her fingers gripped the thick fabric of his jacket for balance, her body pressing closer with every turn. Seeing Max was letting her latch onto him, not pushing her away or correcting her hold, she also understood that she had broken into his heart, that quiet acceptance making her chest feel warm and fuzzy.
She gently pressed her chest on his back, the thin sports bra doing almost nothing to hide her softness while his jacket stayed firm and solid under her touch. Max slowed down a little and controlled the bike, he was having a little fun with her, nothing more.
