Under a thick red tree, Feng Shi's figure sat cross-legged, with Stellar energy gathering towards her.
A blue light kept erupting from within her body, though not as dense as Li Xuan's when breaking through.
Clearly she had also obtained her chance and stepped into the Dao Body stage.
Li Xuan didn't have time to care about her though. He was currently looking at the panda before him curiously.
The panda was about 3 and half meters tall.
Looking at the giant Panda at the aperture opening stage a light flashed in his eyes.
"Interesting!' Li Xuan discovered that the panda had actually already noticed his presence but due to some reason chose to ignore him.
He could already guess the reason, it was capable of sensing the threat level he possed.
He ignored it too and walked around the bamboos, clearly looking for a unique bamboo plant among those present.
In his last life, he remembered clearly Bamboo had different classifications, just like all evolved plant life.
What he was more interested in was clearly the imperial bamboo. Though not the highest quality, it was already considered the easiest to obtain.
He noticed a bamboo about the size of young grass. It had a crystaline blue surface, and just looking at it, he assumed it was jade.
"This! This is clearly a quality above imperial bamboo!" His heart beat accelerated upon setting his sight on the bamboo sapling.
"Hey! Little Panda over there! I'll be taking this little sapling, consider it rent for living in my family property." He turned and looked at the panda whose eyes had hidden spirituality.
"But since you are the first interesting creature I have met, I'll throw a chance your way. Hoe far you go depends on your own creation." Li Xuan's hands moved fast like an after image, before tapping on the Panda's head before it could react.
A blood red light shot from his hand into its head, causing it to enter a dazed state.
He had given it the breathing method from the Beast God Dao Technique first chapter.
His actions were considered risky for others, but he didn't care. He was already on the third level of First chapter.
It was just a matter of time before he went further and that would take him to the second chapter.
Sitting cross-legged before the bamboo sapling, Li Xuan closed his eyes and slowly started to form hand seals, and at the beginning nothing happened, but as time passed, thin blood lines started to form around his skin.
The lines resembled blood vessels and before long, even his hands had this lines forming.
The more blood lines formed, the strong the blood smell in the air became.
With a slight poke of his fingers towards the bamboo sapling, blood lines started to form on the sapling.
The lines resembled veins and the more of them formed, the stronger the blood scent in the air became. Clearly he was performing some kind pf ritual.
Before he knew it, the jade green bamboo sapling had turned blood red from the blood veins forming around it.
The blood veins had slowly taken shape, and appeared to make a complete cycle.
The blood lines around his body kept vanishing along with his blood Qi, clearly being transferred to the bamboo sapling.
The more blood veins formed on the bamboo, the shorter it became.
Without even realizing, the a strong resonance rose between the bamboo and Li Xuan.
He had this feeling that he could absorb it into his body, but he didn't do it.
His blood Qi had been completely drained, and lacked the ability to sustain this bamboo sapling inside his body.
"Sigh! This is another problem. Who would have thought choosing to follow through with this plan would exhaust my blood Qi this much!" He complained, as he felt his body barely having energy to move.
But that wasn't all, as he closed his eyes, he felt a strong change inside his himself. The first was his perception having been enhanced further.
Clearly, every passing moment, he could feel his senses of improve and his feel of the body enhanced.
"I can finally percieve the situation inside my body even more clearly, but this is clearly different from spiritual sense of third class martial artists." He thought silently.
Li Xuan didn't see himself, or he might realize his pupils had turned crimson red. It gave off a strange charm, as well as oppression.

He had completed forming a natal plant, and this was an important aspect of his cultivation. His speed of cultivation in the future was also bound to be faster than before. The premise of all this was clearly seeking treasures that could accelerate the growth of the Bamboo.
Once he accomplished this, it would be far too simple for him to gain cultivation boost from the natal plant. Other benefits were based on the properties of the bamboo itself.

Perhaps things would be different if he had attained the third class martial arts realm, the Internal Universe /Heaven Potential stage.
At this stage, his body would open up an internal Universe and as such could accommodate a natal plant.
"It seems this bamboo can't leave this place for the time being. Lets leave it in this place to develop naturally, and after entering the Primodial Space, obtaining resources to breakthrough to the third class, we can come and absorb it." Li Xuan didn't think twice after having made his decision.
His figure stood up, barely moving headed towards the depths of the forest to seek an opportunity to replenish his blood and Qi.
Li Xuan had clearly made a big gain this time by being able to refine a natal plant. The Beast God Dao Technique emphasized on refinement of a natal beast at the third class, but he refined a natal plant at the second class.
He was sure that he would gain big later and thus didn't mind his depletion of blood and Qi.
"I wonder where that Feng Shi went off to!" It was also only now that he remembered her.
