The Hulk violently looped the chain around the Abomination's neck, then pulled with all his might, determined to kill the Abomination.
The Abomination felt the chain around his neck and brought his hands up to try and tear the chain away.
However, the Hulk's strength was no joke. The Abomination groaned in agony, the external bones on his back protruding, extending, and piercing into the Hulk's chest.
But the Hulk completely ignored the pain in his chest, gripping the chain tightly. He wrapped the chain around his arm, stomped his feet to anchor himself firmly in the ground, refusing to let go.
The Abomination's will to survive was immensely strong. He strained and charged, slamming the Hulk into a nearby building, trying to force him off.
The chaos caused by the two giants resulted in the greatest victimization of the public. People who were safely hiding inside their homes suddenly found two massive figures smashing in, wrestling in front of them.
Tony Stark was about to rush forward to save them when those people were rescued by the Shadow Ninjas and taken to a safe street.
"Where did these black-clothed men come from?" Tony asked.
"Unclear. However, a comparison shows that the black-clothed men have identical physiques and attire, basically indistinguishable," J.A.R.V.I.S. scanned.
Tony looked back at Silas and said, "So, the source of everything leads back to this masked person."
Silas felt Tony's gaze, turned, and gave Tony a friendly nod, then continued to rescue people.
The struggling Abomination nearly killed a little girl with a punch but was saved by Silas at the critical moment.
This scene boosted Tony's opinion of Silas.
"Even I'm starting to believe this isn't the thief," Tony said to J.A.R.V.I.S.
"However, according to the body shape comparison data, they are essentially identical; only the mask is different."
J.A.R.V.I.S. pulled up the comparison data between the previous black-clothed figure and Silas now, displaying it for Tony.
"Alright, but I still need to find out the truth." Tony hadn't originally planned on coming here.
This was the military's mess. He had said from the start that they shouldn't conduct such experiments, and that the only reliable thing was his Iron Man armor.
If Silas hadn't shown up on the scene, Tony would be in the back drinking a glass of wine and mocking those people.
Since he was here now, he couldn't just stand by. Tony landed on the ground, spread his hands, and energy began to gather in his palms. "Everyone, duck!"
People on both sides of the street instantly covered their heads and crouched down. BOOM!
Two lasers shot out from his palms, one aimed at the Abomination, and the other at the Hulk!
The Hulk, currently on the Abomination's back, immediately saw the lasers. "ROAR!" He used all his strength to lift the Abomination, using him as a shield against the attack.
"NO!" The Abomination's eyes widened. The scorching lasers ravaged his skin and body.
"J.A.R.V.I.S., increase the power!" Tony ordered.
"Yes, Sir," J.A.R.V.I.S. replied.
In an instant, the full-power laser illuminated the entire street. The surrounding temperature soared. Everyone closed their eyes, afraid to look directly at the intense beam.
"AH!" The Abomination could no longer withstand the damage.
SNAP!
The chain around the Abomination's neck was melted. The Hulk instantly lost his footing and fell to the ground.
He quickly scrambled up, leaped a short distance away, and watched the Abomination being slowly disintegrated by the laser.
"You're next..." The Abomination, with half of his face burned away, turned his head and spoke to the Hulk.
The Hulk ignored him, looked up at the helicopter, stared at the person inside, and then left.
WHOOSH~ WHOOSH~ WHOOSH~
The laser vanished, and everything returned to calm. The Abomination's upper body was reduced to black ash, leaving only the lower half kneeling on the ground.
Tony's palms were nearly ruined, emitting continuous plumes of white smoke.
CLICK!
A black tube rose from Tony's arm, spraying a chilling mist to rapidly cool the overheated palm section.
"Phew, phew!" Tony opened his faceplate and blew on it, looking at the charred armor on his hand. "I think this test did not go well."
"That was full power output. The current armor is not designed to sustain that," J.A.R.V.I.S. stated.
Tony shrugged and yelled to Silas, who was watching from above. "Hey, spectator! Remember to pay the ticket price."
"So, you're actually an actor?" Silas replied.
"No, I'm a philanthropist," Tony said. "Does your mask have some kind of device in the eyes?"
Tony still remembered the scene of Silas using lasers from his eyes to cut the huge stone slab.
"Yes, a device built into the mask," Silas explained.
He said this because if he switched to the Tara mask while committing evil, he would have an excuse for using the ability.
"I wonder if you know this guy." A holographic image projected from Tony's shoulder onto the wall.
Silas leaned over and saw that the image was his own figure wearing the Tara mask.
"Tara," Silas thought of a strategy.
Tony frowned. "Tara?"
"Tara is the leader of our Shadowkhan organization. I left the organization recently because of disagreements on ideology," Silas explained.
Tony nodded. "Okay, I don't understand your 'Shadowkhan' thing, but I want you to explain why your body figures are exactly the same."
"The uniforms in our Shadowkhan organization are designed to make our figures look identical so we are not easily recognizable," Silas had already prepared for Tony to ask this question.
"Hmm~" Tony teased. "So, if that green fatty wore your uniform, he'd look the same too?"
"No," Silas shook his head. "The figures have to be similar; the difference cannot be too extreme."
"Have you heard if your leader stole something from a very distinguished gentleman?" Tony asked.
"No," Silas said. "But Tara did mention stealing something from a 'red lump'."
"Iron Man, thank you very much," Tony retorted immediately.
Silas didn't pay any more attention to Tony. He waved his hand. "Goodbye."
"Wait! What's your name?" Tony asked. He wasn't worried about Silas disappearing.
"Minta!" Silas said. He then opened the Shadow Realm and merged completely into a black shadow, leaving Tony completely confused.
"What's going on, J.A.R.V.I.S.?" Tony couldn't figure out the masked man's principle of disappearance.
"Unclear," J.A.R.V.I.S. also couldn't calculate it.
Tony smirked. "Minta, is it? I'll remember you. I look forward to our next meeting."
Regardless of whether Minta was the thief, Tony was already intrigued by him. If Minta was the one who took his stuff, he was a little more at ease. At least this Minta fellow was interesting, wasn't he?
"J.A.R.V.I.S., remind me the next time you have any news of him." Tony put his faceplate back on and flew back to Freedom City.
Silas's Room
"This ability is the most convenient!" Silas exclaimed excitedly.
With this ability, no one would ever be able to track him again!
