Morning finally came.
The thunderstorm from the previous night had disappeared completely, leaving behind only fresh sunlight and the soft scent of rain lingering across the estate.

Stephanie slowly stirred awake beneath the soft blankets of Riley's bed.
The warmth beside her was gone.

No response.
Stephanie slowly sat up while brushing some loose strands of hair behind her ear.
The room was empty.
At first, she simply assumed Riley had gone for his morning jog after all.

Something felt different today.

After quietly freshening up and changing clothes provided by the mansion staff, Stephanie finally stepped out into the hallways of Riley's mansion.
The mansion itself was unusually calm this morning.
