I know it's the middle of the night, but the three new episodes of Stranger Things just dropped in my country at 22:00, and after marathoning them, I felt inspired. Since this was the second most popular option in the poll, I decided to go through with it anyway.
At first, I wasn't very keen on this ship, but as I watched, my mind started exploring different possibilities, and ideas just kept coming. In the end, it became something genuinely interesting to write. I started writing purely for my own enjoyment, as a hobby to pass the time, and I want to keep exploring this idea further because my mind has already created countless scenarios.
I understand that some people might decide not to continue reading and may feel disappointed with the direction I chose. I might lose some readers because of it, but this is just a hobby, and I want to create the world I imagine rather than live in constant what ifs. An random 'what if…' sparked the writing of this book in the first place. I hope that at least some of you will understand that feeling, even if you don't support the ship.
I hope that, in the end, the final version is good enough for you.
I've decided that the ship will be Erica × Mike × Eleven.
