Chapter 20 - CHAPTER 19 — SSS+ ENCOUNTER

CHAPTER 19 — SSS+ ENCOUNTER

POV: DIOKA

Dioka lounged on a floating shard of the arena, legs swinging lazily over the void. The preliminaries were already spinning into chaos when the arena's top contender descended—a Rank SSS+ combatant, radiating raw energy.

> "Rank 1… huh?" Dioka muttered, spinning a shard between his fingers.

"Big flex. Cute."

The SSS+ participant glared. Every step shook the arena. Energy coiled like a collapsing star around them.

> "You… are anomalies," they said, voice tense, part awe, part fury.

"I've never seen anyone—anything—like you."

Dioka yawned.

> "That's because we're not supposed to exist," he said.

"Rules? Never met 'em."

---

POV: GUAKULIA

Guakulia hovered above, casually twirling energy orbs. He smirked as the SSS+ launched a storm of plasma bursts, gravity spikes, and reality distortions.

With the faintest push of his hand, the attack spiraled harmlessly into a corner platform, sending debris flying in a spectacular—but safe—display.

> "Predictable," Guakulia murmured.

"Almost boring."

---

POV: SSS+ COMBATANT

Trained to dominate apex supernovas and lane elites alike, the combatant expected chaos—but not this. Every move seemed to fail in impossible ways. Attacks bent around invisible barriers. Platforms shifted just as they leapt.

> "Impossible…" they whispered.

"Nothing… hits…"

A shard flicked past them, grazing armor without leaving a mark.

> "You're… laughing?!" they screamed.

> "Fun's part of it," Dioka said, spinning the shard again.

---

POV: ARENA SYSTEM / COMMENTATORS

The arena's monitoring systems went haywire. Readings glitched, reset, then maxed out again.

> "Anomalies… outside parameters… untraceable…" one AI muttered.

"Even Supreme Scores can't register them!" a commentator shouted.

Spectators—multi-tier supernovas, officials, and remote viewers—froze. Panic mixed with awe.

---

POV: DIOKA & GUAKULIA — SYNERGY

Dioka tossed a shard. Guakulia nudged an opponent's energy attack with a flick. They moved like a single organism: fluid, playful, unstoppable.

> "I'll handle the fireworks," Dioka said.

"Got the traps," Guakulia replied.

The SSS+ lunged with a combined reality-shift assault. Dioka caught them midair, spinning them gently.

> "Careful, or you'll hurt yourself," he teased.

Guakulia flicked his wrist. The arena subtly shifted, launching the combatant onto a cushioned patch of energy. Humiliating, but harmless.

> "Next time, maybe aim faster," Guakulia said.

---

POV: SPECTATORS & LOWER-TIER PARTICIPANTS

Elite participants shielded their eyes. The arena warped in real time: gravity flipped, floors bent, debris formed impossible angles.

> "How… how are they surviving this?" a Rank 2 muttered.

"And… laughing while doing it?" another whispered.

---

POV: DIOKA — HIGH ENERGY

Dioka scanned the arena, eyes glinting.

> "The fun part is watching them try so hard," he whispered to Guakulia.

He clapped once. Arena fragments shifted, spinning rings around the SSS+ combatant.

> "Feel the chaos," Dioka said.

The combatant attempted counterattacks—teleporting, phasing, bending reality—but every move was subtly anticipated and redirected in harmless but humiliating ways.

> "Please… this can't be real…" the SSS+ muttered.

---

POV: GUAKULIA — COMEDIC DOMINANCE

Guakulia twirled an orb, redirecting stray blasts. Platforms rotated like gears under a faint hand gesture.

> "Doing fine," he said sarcastically.

"Just… stop taking us seriously."

The combatant froze, realizing each effort was futile.

> "We… can't kill them…" they gasped.

"Nope," Dioka replied, snapping his fingers.

"Not even close."

---

ENDING SCENE — WORLDWIDE REACTION

From observation decks to distant cities, the anomalies weren't just surviving—they were rewriting what a supernova could do.

Scores glitched. Rankings shattered. Commentators screamed incoherently.

Dioka and Guakulia floated above, laughing, tossing shards and energy orbs.

> "Tournament of God?" Dioka said.

"More like our sandbox."

> "Exactly," Guakulia added.

"Let's see who actually survives the main stage."

The preliminaries? Already a spectacle no one would forget.
