The Untainted
Balkis stirred, turning softly, she snuggled more into the duvet. She felt calm, too warm and comforting. The bed felt too soft, not like hers.
"What's wrong!" She thought.
This doesn't feel right!
Where am I?
Then she jolted awake!
Stunned beyond belief!
A sight she can only dream of behold her!
Where is this?! Where am I? Ya Allah! She said out loud. Checking herself. Her dressing still okay, her clothes crumpled due to her sleep. The small cape she used due to where she was coming is still on her.
Then....
The memories of yesterday's event came crashing down on her like tidal waves. Her heart pulsating wildly as she remembered what she did!
Ya Allah. Ya Allah. Ya Allah. What have I done! What came upon me! She murmured sadly.
"Calm down lady, you are safe!" A voice sounded not too far from her.
Her head snapped towards the source of the voice immediately.
Ahhhhhh. She screamed.
Oh common lady. Sulaimon covers his ears, his eardrums in pain.
He was sitting on the couch facing the bed. His eyes watching her as she sleeps. Every feature on her face captured by him meticulously.
There was a time he wanted to remove her hijab on impulse but stopped. "She might not like it" that thought stopped him.
Just to see how she looks without it!
Will she look more beautiful?!
Oh common quit it guy, it's not your first time seeing a lady like her! He cautioned himself.
But what is different about her? Why do I feel pulled towards her every minute?! What is wrong with me?! He lamented inwardly.
She doesn't look like those who will throw themselves at me. Not at all and definitely not a club type with the way she looks!
What is she doing here of all places? Why did she come here? Was she forced? His thought everywhere, unfocused.
Her soft words brought him back to the moment. He didn't hear the things she murmurs but he knows she must feel confused now that she's sober, seeing the unfamiliar place.
He was trying to assure and comfort her that she's safe but her scream cut him off totally. His eardrums vibrated.
Urgh. Urgh. She retched! Bath.....room, she forced out amidst the heaving.
Hey hey sorry. Sulaimon told her rushing to her side but careful, not touching her.
He pointed to the bathroom for her when he heard her. "That's the bath..."
Urgh. She rushed to the bathroom the next minute. Not waiting for him to finish his words while Sulaimon waited outside the door.
"Are you okay now?" He would ask her after every minute.
After cleaning up, she came out. Looked towards the bed and saw the bed cover as been folded aside, the one she messed up. "I need to go. Sorry for the mess, for the disturbance and thanks for the stay." She walks briskly to the couch to take her bag he probably dropped there without answering him.
"Wait. Please can we talk? Sorry I really need to speak with you." He said blocking her way.
Allow me to introduce myself. He said when he saw that she stopped walking.
I am Sulaimon whitney. And you don't need to thank me, I just want to ask....

"No please let me go. I will not disturb you again!" She said trembling, eyelids heavy with tears gathering.
"Why are you like this, I didn't touch you and I respected you throughout your sleep. Did I do something wrong?" Sulaimon asked puzzled.
Pls don't abuse me and I dont have money to repay for the mess, please forgive my ignorance. Balkis said, voice trembling.
She pushed him aside, rushed to the door but he was faster. He pulled her back.
Even though he had been trying not to hold her, he can't help it now, if not, she will run out.
Bang! She knelt.
What are you doing. He left her hand and saunter back. Shocked.
"Why will you kneel for me? Oh common stand up" he pulled her up, she resisted but he dragged her and sit her on the bed while he stands, looking at her face as if the answer to his puzzles is written there.
Please tell me why you are like this because I don't understand. Please why are you like this just because I mention my name. Do you know anyone from my family? Or what happened?
