Aiden and the Miko sisters quickly looked toward the entrance to the second-floor passage.
Sylvia stood there, filthy from head to toe. Her face was pale with fear as she stared at the two Aberrant Fleshweavers lying dead on the ground.
"They're dead? Those two nightmare monsters… dead?" Her body was covered in wounds. She looked miserable.
Her lips trembled. She had been forced to open the temple entrance and run for her life. She never thought those two horrors would die here.
And Rainn, Cheryl, and that human slave didn't seem hurt at all.
What the hell happened?
Sylvia's mind raced. She bit her lip and looked up at the throne in the second-floor hall.
"Rainn, you only have the third trial left, right? Once you pass it, you get the Primordial Miko's legacy. So I still have a chance." Sylvia didn't want to give up.
She had already lost two teammates. If she got nothing, what was the point of coming to the Miko Temple at all?
