Jonathan lifted his head and saw Rover standing still. In front of him, the statue had vanished, nowhere to be seen.
Blood, the souls seated on the benches, the piano music, everything had disappeared. The space fell into a suffocating silence.
Jonathan looked around. After confirming there was no longer any danger, he tried to move closer to Rover.
But the chain was too short. When he was less than 20cm from Rover, he couldn't move any further.
With no other choice, Jonathan could only shout, "Rover! Rover!"
Rover remained motionless, as if he had turned to stone.
"Damn it!" Jonathan muttered. "How the hell do we get out of this freaky place now?"
"Rover! Motherfucker! Are you dead?!"
"Rover!"
Jonathan fell into complete despair. If no one could reach this place and Rover didn't wake up, then even if every single monster here died, it would be meaningless. He still wouldn't be able to escape.
"Rover!" Jonathan snapped again, furious.
