On the way back, Morie couldn't hold back her curiosity and asked, "Why did you do that?"
"What do you mean..." Rover frowned.
Morie said, "Your actions weren't to save Millan, and you weren't really trying to pick a fight with those people either. What are you trying to do?"
Rover wore a mysterious smile, then bent down and whispered into Morie's ear, "If you want to know, then wait until we get into my room. Lie down on my bed, and I'll tell you."
The warm breath and masculine scent of Rover against Morie's ear made her jolt, her face flushing red.
Even though she had already accepted that from now on, she would be Rover's plaything, when she actually interacted with him, she still felt shy.
