"Tristan!" Celine found herself rushing to his side, pulling his head onto her lap while shaking him, trying to wake him up. "Tristan, are you alright?"
He groaned slightly, his eyes opening a bit. He placed his hand against his forehead as if he were having a terrible headache.
"Tristan, are you unwell? Should I call the doctor?"
Her barging into his office had been an impulse act she hadn't even thought about, all she knew was that a strange worry had gradually been filling her chest ever since she saw him at the conference meeting earlier.
She felt guilty because she hadn't even thanked him properly yet, hadn't checked on him to make sure he was feeling okay after he'd donated his blood, perhaps that worry had led her to run into his office now at the slightest signs of trouble, and seeing that he indeed looked unwell made her feel even more worried.
"No..." He finally replied, his voice tight and hoarse, "Don't call the doctor."
