She pushed open the door to the laboratory, bracing herself to be met with hatred in his eyes but what she saw, left her shocked. Tristan wasn't there she only met a nurse and some other hospital staff in there.
"Are you looking for the donor? He just left, a few minutes ago. I told him to rest for a bit but I think he was in a hurry." The nurse informed.
Celine frowned in confusion. He left? Without asking her anything, or even stopping to talk to her?
She quickly turned around, hoping to catch him before he could fully leave the hospital. As she rounded the bend, she caught a sight of his broad back as he stepped into the elevator, by the time she got there, the elevator doors had already closed.
Celine stood by the elevator with a blank expression for some time. She seemed to be lost in thought, but a hint of disappointment crossed her eyes.
