Finally realizing who he was, Celine gave him a once over.
It was quite fascinating to see that the boy who had been a little chubby, with jiggly cheeks had actually grown up to be such a man.
She now perfectly understood the phrase, time makes a man, because time truly had changed the boy she used to know into a man.
"I see now, Juju?" Immediately Celine uttered that name, the man's expression froze.
"No one calls me that anymore, not even my mother." He said, jaw clenching. If she remembered correctly he hated that nickname even in the past.
Celine looked down at her wrist and noticed it was past six in the evening, time really wasn't on her side right now. The event would start in less than an hour and she wasn't even dressed yet.
"Okay, it's wonderful seeing you again Julian, but I have to go. Maybe we'll see each other again some time." She said about to step into the elevator doors that just opened but he grabbed her wrist to stop her.
