The child's clueless remark left Natalia stunned for a second before she let out a bout of laughter.
Celine almost face palmed, she had been quite worried that Leo wouldn't warm up to anyone by the time they returned here. Many called him an unfriendly child. And as for Leah, she was very sweet but the unfriendly cat she always carried made sure to keep people away from her.
"Baby, a godmother doesn't mean two mothers. It just means another guardian." Celine explained patiently.
"A guardian is a parent." The little boy argued with a quiet but firm persistence.
"Or another person who looks after a child." Celine added already being accustomed to her son's firmly opinionated nature. Leo fell quiet after that, his gaze on Natalia quietly contemplative as if quietly deciding if he should accept her or not.
Leah on the other hand snuck her tiny hand into Natalia's. "Godmother, will we be staying with you from now on?"
