By evening, everyone—including Livia and Ryan—arrived, carrying bags and suitcases. The car was ready outside, loaded and waiting.
Everyone climbed in, settling into their seats, laughter and chatter filling the space as doors shut one by one. The engine started, and soon the car pulled away, heading toward the airport.
The atmosphere inside was electric with excitement. Livia and Mira chatted animatedly about all the things they wanted to do once they arrived, their voices overlapping as plans and ideas spilled out freely. The kids joined in too, squealing over imagined adventures and counting down to sandcastles, water splashes, and sun-soaked games.
Ryan, meanwhile, explained the arrangements he had made for work, detailing schedules and plans with calm efficiency. Even so, he couldn't quite suppress the small smiles that appeared at the cheerful chaos surrounding him.
