Cameron didn't fight the grip. He looked past Reed's shoulder, to where he knew a hidden camera was placed. He spoke clearly, for the recording. "I'm not going anywhere with you. Let me go."
"Or what?" Lucas chuckled, stepping closer. "You'll call your boyfriend Blackwood? He's not here to save you this time."
In his ear, Aaron's voice was icy calm. "Now."
Cameron brought his foot down hard on Richard Reed's foot. As Reed grunted in pain and loosened his grip, Cameron dropped the glass of water. It shattered… the signal.
From a service door, two of Benjamin's men burst in. From the other end of the corridor, the two "wait staff" came out, weapons drawn.
"Down on the ground! Now!" one of them shouted.
Reed and Lucas froze, their expressions shifting from triumph to stunned horror. The trap is in place.
