Chapter 11 — An Oscar-Worthy Performance!
Akira raised Murakumogiri high, his killing intent surging toward the sky.
"Akira-sama, please forgive us!"
"Don't kill us!"
"We… we really didn't know anything!"
The Gifters were utterly broken.
They could feel the murderous aura thick in the air—pure, concentrated, and fused with Akira's Conqueror's Haki.
Paralyzing fear consumed them. Their limbs went weak, some losing control of their bodies as urine and filth stained the rubble beneath their knees.
They knelt, slamming their foreheads to the ground over and over, until blood trickled down, mixing with the dark-red dirt of the ruins.
They knew this man too well—
The Fourth Commander of the Beasts Pirates, Akira.
His path within the crew was carved through piles of corpses.
His methods were ruthless.
If he decided someone should die, that person would die—without hesitation or regret.
Akira's eyes were cold as steel. Not a shred of mercy could be found in them.
Just as his massive blade began to descend—
"Stop!!"
A thunderous voice echoed through the ruins.
Boom!
King burst from the debris first, landing in front of Akira. The eyes behind his mask blazed with fury.
"Akira! Have you lost your mind?!"
"You'd slaughter your own crewmates right in front of the Boss?!"
Moments later—
"Calm yourself, Akira!"
Queen's massive body rolled out from the wreckage, trembling in fear but keeping his wary gaze on Akira's blade.
"There's no point getting worked up over a few useless underlings!"
"Yeah!"
Jack stepped forward too, standing protectively in front of the terrified Gifters.
The three of them—King, Queen, and Jack—stood side by side.
Together, they blocked Akira's path.
Akira glared at the trio. His voice was low, raspy, and carried an oppressive weight.
"Move."
It wasn't a request. It was a command—laced with fury that tolerated no defiance.
King's expression hardened.
"Don't tell me… you're planning to fight us too?!"
Akira let out a small, chilling laugh—one that sent a shiver down their spines.
If you're going to act, do it with everything you've got… otherwise, Kaido won't shed a single tear.
He muttered that to himself.
"And besides…"
"I want to know…"
"How strong I've really become compared to the Three Calamities!"
What began as mere pretense…
turned into genuine battle intent.
"I'll say it one more time—"
"Move!"
BOOM!
Akira didn't waste another second. He moved!
The Divine Manifestation Technique activated once more.
His body expanded in an instant—towering again at a height of nearly nine meters!
All his energy condensed into a single swing.
"Dragonbreaker Slash!!"
One strike—unleashed directly against the combined defense of the Three Calamities!
"Bastard!!"
King, Queen, and Jack never expected Akira to actually attack!
Reflexively, the three of them joined forces, summoning their techniques to block the blow—
But the very next moment—Murakumogiri's edge collided with their combined assault!
BOOOOOM!!!
There was no fierce back-and-forth.
No prolonged struggle.
The outcome appeared instantly.
Crack!!
King's sword screamed as it shattered!
Queen's Armament Haki armor fractured like glass!
And Jack's ivory tusks split down the middle with a thunderous snap!
The combined might of the Three Calamities…
was obliterated by a single slash from Akira.
The power was absurd—raw, overwhelming, utterly dominant.
In an instant, the three of them were flung away like paper dolls caught in a storm.
"How… how is this possible?!"
Their disbelieving voices overlapped.
Their bodies were hurled through the ruins, smashing into walls and collapsing stone structures.
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
Explosions rippled outward as the dust rose.
When the smoke cleared, only Akira and Kaido remained standing—
alongside a few Gifters who had fainted from sheer terror.
"Ugh… khh, khh…"
Jack was the first to crawl out from the rubble, blood dripping from his lips.
"This… this can't be happening!"
"How did he become this strong?!"
"No way…"
Queen, battered and covered in wounds, stumbled out next. His mechanical arm was smoking, sparks flying from its cracked joints.
"Damn it… this brat… in just one night…"
"How much stronger did he get?!"
King rose last, stabbing his sword into the ground for support.
His trembling hand could barely keep its grip. Even his muscles quivered uncontrollably.
Behind the black mask, his pupils narrowed sharply.
"That attack…"
"It was so heavy!"
"Could he really… have grown this strong already?!"
The Three Calamities—
defeated by a single slash!
Akira didn't even glance at them.
He continued walking forward, slowly, dragging Murakumogiri toward the unconscious Gifters.
He intended to finish what he started.
BOOM!
Suddenly, the ground quaked.
Kaido's Hassaikai, his massive spiked club, slammed into the ground before Akira—blocking his path.
Kaido strode forward slowly.
There was no anger on his face.
If anything—he looked… pleased.
He had just witnessed, with his own eyes, his son-in-law and future successor crush his three best officers with a single swing.
Kaido's thoughts raced.
Wororororo…
Those three really are trash. It wouldn't matter if they died.
But I'm still their Boss.
I can't just stand by and let my son-in-law kill them in front of everyone.
Yet as his eyes met Akira's blazing expression of "rage," Kaido's thoughts shifted.
This brat…
He really does care about Yamato!
Wororororo!
It seems marrying them was the right decision after all!
Just one night… and he's already fallen for my daughter!
Wororororo! What a fine son-in-law!
Akira stared at the club in front of him, then looked up at Kaido with furious eyes.
"Father!! Get out of my way!!"
"Let me finish them off!!"
…
Silence.
The smile on Kaido's face froze.
The hand gripping Hassaikai stopped midair.
That word—
that name—
echoed in his ears.
"Father…?"
For a moment, a strange warmth spread through Kaido's chest.
He remembered… ever since that incident during her childhood, Yamato had never once called him Father again.
Since that day, she only called him Kaido.
Not once had she spoken that word—Father.
And now, his newly married son-in-law…
had shouted it aloud for the entire island to hear!
"Worororo!!"
"Wororororororo!!"
Kaido threw his head back and laughed!
His booming laughter shook all of Onigashima's ruins.
"Brave! Bold! A skilled warrior!"
"And even filial!"
Kaido looked at Akira with growing satisfaction.
He swung Hassaikai lightly, pushing Akira back a few steps—but his force was gentle, almost like a friendly pat.
In what he thought was his "softest tone," Kaido roared,
"That's enough!"
"If she's gone—then go find her!"
"No need to take it out on your comrades!"
Then, turning toward the Three Calamities, who were still panting with shame and frustration, Kaido barked:
"King! Queen! Jack!"
"You useless trash!!"
"Get out of here!"
"Find her!"
"Split up in three directions and locate Yamato!"
"Don't make my son-in-law wait!"
"If you take too long and I don't get a grandchild soon—
I'll skin you alive!!"
…
"No, Father!"
Akira seized the moment—his golden opportunity to leave the island.
With a loud voice, he cut in.
Kaido blinked in surprise.
"Hah?"
Akira gripped Murakumogiri tightly, his voice trembling with emotion.
"Father!"
"I'll go search for Yamato too!"
"She's my wife!"
"And I'll bring her back with my own hands!"
"I'll protect her!"
…
Kaido paused for a long second—
then broke into a wide, proud grin, deeply moved by the conviction in Akira's tone.
"Good! That's what a man with responsibility should say!"
But his expression soon turned uncertain.
"So, you want to go search for Yamato as well?"
"But this island can't be left unguarded—"
"Father!"
Akira didn't let him finish. He cut him off sharply.
"There are others who can handle things here!"
"You don't need to worry!"
"Give me one month!"
"I'll definitely bring Yamato back!!"
…
Silence hung in the air again.
Kaido's doubtful look slowly softened into what he considered a "gentle smile."
"Wororororo!"
"Very well!!"
Kaido nodded in satisfaction.
"In that case, I'll give you one month!"
He glanced toward King, who was still bowing in shame.
"King!"
"Give Akira the fastest ship on the island!"
Kaido raised Hassaikai, slamming it into the ground as his final command echoed across the ruins—
"Let him go!!"
"Bring that crazy girl back to me—"
"And help me get a grandchild as soon as possible!!!"
