Kimberly and I agreed to have dinner together and spend a few carefree hours until one o'clock in the morning — the time when I'll show up at John's villa with Kimberly in tow. The plan is very simple: she'll disguise herself under a long cloak, and I'll tell John she's a vampire looking for food, shelter, and above all protection from the Monster Slayers — all things he provides to those who work for him.
