Chapter 12 - Chapter 12; ORIGIN

OUTPOST 131006: COLD LANDS

The giant thick walls of heavy slab stood high and mighty, its circumference spanning over hundreds of miles, covering a large expanse of the antarctic lands. Watching from a bird's view, large factories, tubes and mechanical machines from land to aerial type machines. In between the large running engine and the moving machines was a ring shaped construct that looked like it could take in two of the freighter class jets packed around. People flickered within the walls, their movements rushed.

High standpoint towers with armoured men holding advanced high blast plasma guns stood guard, watching for the slighest disturbance. This Standpoint towers stood at least thirty meters away from each other, the towers were mounted with strong headlights which brightened up beyond the walls, permeating through the thick blisters of snow.

The blizzard blew unceasingly, the large expanse was covered with endless white, nothing to be seen for miles. On one of this high standpoints, a man stood watching the white expanse with creases on his fore head. Unlike the guards who were armored up from head to toe, this man wore a black vest which stretched against his wide frame covered with a huge furry jacket, camouflage combat pants which were folded into a leather and few furry designed boot. His eyes focused with little concern for his environment.

Tipping forward, her steps silent she threw herself against his back. Her figure pressed tightly into the furry jacket with hidden & compressed glee.

" Commander Brenda." the male figure released a wisp of cold air into the white plains. His voice as cold as the snow.

"The courageous hero." she replied, her brunette locks pressing into his back. Her face still muffled into his jacket like she was taking in his scent.

Turning around, his face was fully revealed, it was Sampson Lionhearth 'the courageous hero. ' He had a stiff 😑 expression on his face which was full of thick gruffly beards, hiving him a wild look.

"Is the elimination squad ready for strike, Commander?" he asked.

"Patience, my hero. The launch will be ready in an hour or less. Till then, we have the whole time to ourselves." her voice was low & sultry with something like fanaticsm.

Sampson Lionhearth resumed his deep stare into the white nothingnesss, his face scrunching with deep thoughts.

" Watching you put those damn species in their place was quite thrilling. You fought with such finesse that i can't help but replay the scene in my head each time. You were amazing." She finally pulled her face away, revealing a cruel scar that ran across her nose. Her face blushing red, from the snow or the man before her?

"We got a faux, sent straight to you." Commander Brenda packed her hair into a loose bun her camouflage jacket stretching into her womanly figure before handing a tiny piece of paper to Sampson.

"Thanks Commander." Sampson Lionhearth took the piece of paper from her, he scanned through the contents immediately before squeezing it to dust.

"Your Son is on his way here, he should be in this cold lands for our next strike." The commander dropped another news as dhe watched in silence before walking away. "You should come down, raid will begin in a few minutes now." she said with a sweet smile one reserved only for the 'courageous hero'.

Sampson stood there for a while, his eyes refocused on the blank plains. "Seth" he muttered.

UNKNOWN SUBSPACE

Blood red skies, dreary atmosphere. Behold sat a mighty blood red castle at the edge of a cliff its peak like it was reaching for the very heavens. The halls were large and filled with gear and tube type mechanism adding to its scary aesthetics.

On the throne sat a golden hair figure, below him was a fat unshapely blob who kept his head low while whimpering.

"Please you have to help me, Lord Alucard. We can win this war with a little backing. There's no reason for us to stay limited to human orders. This world is ours for the taking." The thick blob rapped.

He was the Baron Alaric, termed the vampire rebel.

Across the olden times have been tales of immortal beings, demons said to feed on the very essence of life itself with terms carved across the very fabric of time.

In Mesopotamia (B.C. ) names like the accursed lilitu and the feared Lamashtu were called in horror, The early Greece when their signs were spotted, the Lamiae & Empusae. The Romans called them all out demons but one name came across all countries bringing fear into hearts of men, the blood feeding monsters, the Vampires

The vampire community are seperated their classes and hierachy.

The fledglings, these are newly turned vampires with no control. If they had no backing or higher bloodline purity, they are likely to be lowborns as they still have the possibility of becoming a ghoul (imperfect vampires).

The ancillae, they are one step above the fledglings, more like young adults who are stronger, faster and older. They make up more of the fighting force for their species.

The elders, they usually have higher positions and are accepted into the higher class as aristrocrats and nobles giving out positions like barons, counts, dukes and specific territories to rule over. With higher bloodline purity they are able to create stronger vampires from their sireline.

While the ancients, they have lived long lives, at times as long as the pure bloods and progenitors of their sireline. They are princes, magistrate and faction leaders

The are three origin families & five vampire progenitors. The Vladimirs, The Mikaehlssen and The von caines.

The Vladimirs are the most powerful among the three but with lesser sirelines and lower blood quality causing them to be more ghoul populated while the Mikaehlssen have the most progenitors, three origin vampires. The ' Von Caines' are said to be the most hidden among the three. The Ancient and older vampires with high class nobility from accross the three families formed a council which takes care of diplomatic affairs having almost as much power as the progenitors themselves. All vampires are drawn from their heritage scattered across the vast world.

Lord Alucard was the noble prince of the Vladimirs, with thousands of subjects below him. He was the direct descendant of the Vladimir vampire progenitor.

"I warned you against warring the humans at the moment, did i not?" Alucard the first prince of the Vladimir clan responded coldly, his eyes glowing from behind the shadow of the throne.

"Yes my lord. But for how long do we continue to act like humans subordinates. My ghouls are almost cleared and my soldiers believe it to be a losing war. One where they could lose their lives..." Baron Alaric raised his head while shouting emotionally but was cut off by Alucard.

"This war was losing war from the moment you decided to rebel. A war this Lord warned you of! There was much to lose but you decided to appeal to the council for allowance, why do you bother this seat now? Do you think the council wasn't aware that this would happen? They knew but they used you to check the path anyway and now you run to this lord the moment things spiral out of control. " Alucard was annoyed, his voice rose higher echoing across the dark halls.

" My lord.... " The fat baron began slowly again, his voice barely a whisper " my men own men fear a human.... Your own men tremble before a man other than your glorious self or does the lord still carry emotions for humans." He said, his fat body jiggling.

Alucard stood up from his throne, his hands raised and before him was the fat Baron. His body trembing mid air. Blood began seeping from his mouth as he wriggled like a worm.

" Father! " a soft slavic female accent shouted out hurriedly. The baron fell on his butt immediately as Alucard dropped his arms.

"You must know young lord....." The Baron coughed out, his hand on his neck. "... People question the Progenitor's choice. People call you weak." The Baron immediately stood up and took his leave.

Beatrice ran to her father, Settling him on the throne before asking "are you alright, Father?" Her voice soft, her skin fair even in the absence of light.

"Aaarghhh, this is annoying." he muttered. "why don't they see that the council are the true game players here."

"Talking of Councils, I am to attend the golden summit with Katherine Mikaehlssen and Darius von caine. Probably with few other royal bloods, Father." Beatrice's soft lips parted sensually.

"Hmmm!!" Alucard looked afar with deep eyes, his thoughts running quuckly.

Seth woke up in a blank space, its distance running farther than the eyes could see.

'Where I'm i?' He thought. Slowly looking around, nothing was in sight when his heart slowed all of a sudden. 'I can see, this isn't just blank space. I can literally see.' he looked down to see his all black outfit he had put on. Twisting his head behind slowly, he saw it. The space behind was filled with glittering stars and galaxies. He lightly felt the pull of a black hole but even with the magnificent sight, that wasn't the reason he was shocked.

All the adornments of the stars and space itself were like fabric, and he wore them like a garment. A long kimono like robe but his chest were open.

A green orb with golden railing each connected to the different colors of orbs implanted around it. His body was built perfectly, like it was sculpted by a greek god. He appeared like he was so close and yet so far. It was him

Seth had heard the name once but he had never forgotten that name. Long black hair that could hide the magnificent pairs of horns which jutted from his skull. The two lower pairs of horns twisted round his head like a crown while the last pair rose magnificently but one of the curved horn's tip were slashed making them look like a crescent curved moon 🌙. His horn and ears were decorated with long gold rings which flickered softly. His eyes like the Night with two glittering moons in each eye. Seth felt the pulls from those eyes like he was being sucked in. Something deep in his heart that he had not felt in a long time resurfaced, something he thought didn't exist again.

It was him.... It was..... 'Mahahallel' Seth said to himself.

Mahahallel stood there staring at Seth quietly. Even with the infinite space, tension filled the void. Finally with a sigh and million year regret, Mahahallel called out

"Seth."

Seth felt like something broke again, and every string on his body was pulled taut. He felt lightheaded and swayed forward but Mahahallel held his face gently.

The left area of Seth's face felt hot as he stared into those eyes. Even with the night in it, he saw that soft gaze in them.

"I'm truly sorry." He said again.

Seth just kept looking into those eyes till his whole word went dark.
