Inside a secret cave on Yashiori Island.
Balladeer, a Fatui Harbinger, was, as always, directing his subordinates to operate the machinery inside this secret cave.
All these machines were used to manufacture Delusions.
A Delusion is an object similar to a Vision, allowing people to wield Elemental Power just like a Vision.
But unlike a Vision, which relies on people's emotions and will to drive Elemental Power.
A Delusion, however, has the side effect of draining one's lifespan... If ordinary people use it excessively, they can quickly wither and die... The reason the Fatui are currently accelerating Delusion production is to supply them to the resistance on Watatsumi Island.
This is to aid the Watatsumi Island resistance, giving them enough fighting power to clash with Inazuma's Shogunate Army.
The more fiercely the two sides fight, the more benefits the Fatui will gain.
Of course, Balladeer is not the person executing the Delusion plan; he is merely a bodyguard and overseer.
The one who truly established the Delusion manufacturing factory on Yashiori Island is another Fatui Harbinger... though Balladeer is also very supportive of the plan.
Because Balladeer never cared about the lives of others; he is an arrogant person.
Even if the Delusions cause the resistance members to constantly drain their life force and perish, Balladeer couldn't care less.
Just as Balladeer was continuously directing his subordinates to operate the Delusion production machinery.
Suddenly, a tall person covered in purple armor walked into the secret cave, approached Balladeer, and knelt before him:
"Lord Balladeer!"
That was Fatui Electro Hammer Brother No. 3.
Balladeer crossed his arms, looked down at Fatui Electro Hammer Brother No. 3 with disdain, and said faintly, "What is it?"
Fatui Electro Hammer Brother No. 3 looked very anxious and said:
"According to news from Inazuma City, Lady Signora was attacked!"
Hearing this, Balladeer slightly furrowed his brow, but showed little emotion, instead displaying an expression of interest:
"Oh? Tell me the details."
Fatui Electro Hammer Brother No. 3 hesitated for a long time before speaking:
"It is said that Lady Signora was in the Tenryou Commission's territory when The Person Wearing the Yellow Fox Mask broke in and injured Lady Signora."
"It was only because the Raiden Shogun appeared in time that Lady Signora managed to escape, though she still sustained some injuries. She has now relocated her residence to a secret stronghold in Inazuma City."
After speaking, Fatui Electro Hammer Brother No. 3 lowered his head, bracing himself for an angry roar from Balladeer.
However, to Fatui Electro Hammer Brother No. 3's surprise, Balladeer was not angry; instead, he laughed wildly... "Hehehehe... Hahahaha! Yellow Fox attacked that idiot Signora? That's right!"
This scene greatly confused Fatui Electro Hammer Brother No. 3. Although he didn't know the relationship between the two Harbingers.
Was it really appropriate for Balladeer to say such things when another Harbinger was in trouble?
However, Fatui Electro Hammer Brother No. 3 was just a minor figure and dared not pry into the affairs between the Harbingers.
After reporting the matter, he quickly slipped away.
Balladeer ignored the retreating Fatui Electro Hammer Brother No. 3 and continued laughing loudly:
"Yellow Fox, oh Yellow Fox, you never disappoint me."
"To dare to directly trespass into the Tenryou Commission's territory, you clearly don't put that flawed puppet in your eyes!"
"Even I wouldn't dare to do something so reckless."
"But this is good. As long as Yellow Fox's attention is focused on that flawed puppet and the idiot Signora, that's enough!"
"I hope that idiot Signora can stall for a bit more time. Even if Yellow Fox kills her, it doesn't matter; her value is limited anyway."
"As long as she can hold off Yellow Fox, no one can stop me!"
Thinking of this, an arrogant smile reappeared on Balladeer's face.
Balladeer completely disregarded the lives of the other Fatui Harbingers.
It wasn't that he had a deep hatred for Lady Signora.
Balladeer simply didn't value the lives of others.
To him, the lives of others were like weeds, utterly unworthy of attention.
Even the other Fatui Harbingers, his colleagues, were no different.
The only thing Balladeer has ever cared about is Inazuma's Electro Gnosis.
More accurately, Balladeer has always wanted a 'powerful heart' to try and fill his own void... On the other side, after spending another pleasant afternoon interacting with Sayu in Inazuma, Yuuko returned home.
He had originally wanted to invite Sayu over as a guest, but Sayu apparently had to return to her strange Ninja Organization to report, so she didn't stay at Yuuko's house.
Although Yuuko felt it was a pity, he didn't dwell on it too much.
Tonight, he would get a good night's rest, and tomorrow he would depart for Watatsumi Island.
His goal was to make contact with the resistance on Watatsumi Island.
Yuuko wanted to help strengthen the resistance and encourage more Inazuma residents who were dissatisfied with the Vision Hunt Decree to join.
To collectively unite and resist the Vision Hunt Decree and the Shogunate Army.
Once the resistance was filled with countless native Inazuman residents, and the intense wishes and will of these Inazuman people reached the God of Inazuma.
Presumably, even if Raiden Ei was extremely withdrawn.
She wouldn't be able to stand idly by.
After all, if all the citizens of Inazuma rebelled, it would undoubtedly be a serious warning to the deity.
No matter how much Raiden Ei pursued eternity, she couldn't ignore the will of all the people of Inazuma, could she?
When Raiden Ei was willing to let him enter the Plane of Euthymia, that would be success.
Furthermore, Yuuko had made up his mind.
After entering the Plane of Euthymia, he absolutely had to give Raiden Ei a good beating... Yuuko wouldn't feel satisfied unless he punched that withdrawn deity awake.
"Speaking of which, it's strange. The little fox hasn't come home today either, even though I told it to definitely return..."
Tonight, the little fox didn't come home again.
Although it was normal for the little fox to occasionally not come home, given how much has happened in Inazuma recently, it was hard for Yuuko not to worry.
After thinking it over, Yuuko sighed helplessly:
"When it finally comes home, I definitely have to give it a good lecture."
"Hmm, I also need to use the momentum from the lecture to force it into the bathroom for a bath."
Yuuko had long wanted to take the little fox into the bathroom to bathe together.
But the little fox kept resisting... "However, since I'm going to Watatsumi Island, I probably won't have time to return for a while. I need to properly settle the little fox first."
"But where should I settle the little fox? Inazuma City isn't safe lately..."
Yuuko carefully considered it for a moment before thinking of a suitable place.
"Right, why not settle it at the Shrine! The Shrine Maidens there are so kind, and the little fox is so cute, they shouldn't refuse me."
"Hmm, before I leave tomorrow, I'll go to the Shrine first, ask the Shrine Maidens to help me find the little fox, and then ask them to look after it."
