Arnold and Karry split off, moving toward the watchtower, while Sasha headed alone toward the main mansion.
Karry whispered, "Can Sasha really eliminate the target without alerting the mansion?"
Arnold didn't slow down.
"Don't worry, Karry. Even if she looks like a pretty girl, that's only a disguise."
Karry hesitated.
"How dangerous is she really?"
Arnold's voice was calm.
"After she took down Henry's inner circle by herself, I stopped underestimating her. Enough talking. We move now. The hostages come first."
They advanced toward the tower, keeping to the shadows.
Meanwhile, Sasha slipped through the mansion like a ghost.
She avoided the cameras with precise timing, her movements silent and sharp. Reaching what should have been Henry's chamber, she stepped inside and approached the bed.
She pulled the blanket away.
A decoy.
Her eyes narrowed.
"This is a trap," Sasha whispered into the communicator.
"He knows we're here."
From the darkness, a voice echoed.
"Oh? Looking for me?"
A figure stepped forward.
Henry.
"I guess I didn't need to hunt you down myself," he said with a twisted smile.
"My forces have surrounded this place. Soldiers. Heavy weapons. No escape."
His gaze lingered on her.
"Come now. Let's have some fun."
Sasha's expression didn't change.
"You're a fool if you think this plan works on me," she said coldly.
"You're five years too late."
She turned slightly.
"Because Arnold is here."
At the same time, Arnold and Karry froze behind cover.
Soldiers flooded the area—far more than expected.
Karry's heart raced.
"What about Sasha?"
Arnold clenched his jaw.
"We find her. Then we escape together."
Suddenly, alarms blared.
"They found us!" Karry shouted.
Arnold's eyes sharpened.
"Run. Now."
They sprinted through the shadows as footsteps thundered behind them.
A voice rang out ahead of them.
"You have nowhere left to run."
Karry's breath hitched.
The trap had fully closed.
