I tried to hide my trembling hands behind my back as Lord Jaxon led me to a cabin inside the boat ,I was continuously muttering prayers to any god who cared to listen.Lord Jaxon was known all over the kingdom he is said to be a dangerous merchant often using cruel ways to get whatever he desires above all he is a well recognised flirt ,a crude womaniser to be honest.They have been several rumours of him and his sister in_law having an affair but it wasn't authentic though most people believe it wasn't just rumours since they were familiar with attitude,wild thoughts kept running through my mind what of he was really having an affair with his sister in_law that would be bad on my part I just wanted to run away from this man but it wasn't so possible cause our hands were intertwined with each other.

I led her into my personal cabin in my boat away from servants it was obvious she is Lunavia although she was cloaked in black and avoiding my gaze I could still identify her aura besides her trembling body made it even more convincing ,I still couldn't decide my next line of approach with her it seems like she was scared I still couldn't fathom why a person with such powerful energy would be afraid mere mortals there was something about her that wasn't adding up to everything I had heard about her .We were finally inside the room I sat on a chair still racking my brain about what to say "forgive me my lord I'm not lady Gayle I'm just a passerby I ask you spare my worthless life I promise to repay you however you see fit "Lunavia pleaded desperately on her knees carefully avoiding my gaze ,I sighed and walked up to her I gently helped her to her feet before I removed her cloak from her body in a swift unexpected move.

I was given a simple room in the cabin to rest, everything that took place earlier was bewildering Lord Jaxon turned out to be the man I bumped into at the market although I pretended not to notice I still recognised him,the fact that he rescued me without wanting anything in return was almost too good to be true."what if he was going to sell me to valkan or even worst to satisfy his perverted ideas"I said to myself,of he wanted to have his way with me he would have done it earlier on but it baffles me that he was interested in my background,I didn't care what he wanted from me as long as I'm safe far away from valkan empire he could do as he wishes to me .I couldn't deny being afraid of him he was mysterious and intimidating his presence commanded fear he looked like a war commander in novels although his presence was suffocating he is handsome in a fierce way he had the perfect height, Physics and his face could make one heart flutter in a nice way.
The days rolled by we were far away from valkan empire I didn't have to hide my hair and eyes,all I did was maids duties like cleaning and cooking for him.he lived in a mansion near the sea the scenery was nice, staying alone with him under the same roof wasn't so bad he didn't behave in any manner that was uncalled for he was good to me at least I just prayed it would last a bit longer than usual.
