Back to the main battlefield.

After the initial exchange, Nero regrouped. She didn't speak. She raised the Primordial Flame and charged.

The Golden Hind's cannons answered. Moon Spirit Elixir spread across the deck under David and Drake's feet — a constant defensive layer, ready for thrust attacks, positioned to catch anything that broke through the cannon screen.

Nero leaped high. Drake's expression shifted — a flash of the same recognition that comes when someone repeats a mistake you've already punished once.

Then the recognition reversed.

The corner of Nero's mouth.

David and Drake's pupils contracted simultaneously.

The Golden Theater descended from the sky.

Not a small thing. Football field-scale, scarlet canopy and gold, dropping like a second sun. Not decorative — Nero's absolute imperial domain, her embodiment of love for Rome, the space where all her wishes were fulfilled. Within it, she received significant enhancement. The battlefield reshaped itself to her desires.

"Open the gate! Raise the curtain for the solo performance! Behold my talent, hear the thunderous applause — praise this Golden Theater! Laus Saint Claudius!"

[Chat]: OH NO

[Chat]: SHE HAS A THEATRE

[New_Viewer]: someone summoned a ship, someone summoned a castle, and now someone summoned a theatre?!

[Answering]: this is normal. what do you mean by normal? this is Holy Grail War.

[Drake_Fan]: DRAKE DON'T LOSE

[No_Background_Music]: this scene needs music. it is deeply wrong that there is no background music right now.

[Counter]: Nero and Elizabeth are right there. there IS background music. you don't want it.

The theater's mass and volume made simple evasion impossible. No matter how Drake maneuvered, the Golden Hind was getting hit — the geometry didn't allow any other outcome. The thing was simply too large.

Drake looked at the descending theater. Slammed the rudder.

The sea surface responded. Waves built, enormous, lifting the bow. Drake turned the Golden Hind directly into the theater's path rather than away from it.

"You're not running? Then witness it — I will slay you like an immortal phoenix!"

"How am I supposed to blow you up if I don't get close? I am the woman who shot down the sun."

Drake's hand went up. "Lads — get the ship closer! I am the King of the Undead! The King of Storms! Now is the time for the Wild Hunt — Golden Wild Hunt!"

The sky had already changed. The thunderstorm that answered Drake's call covered the clear sky in seconds. The Golden Hind's deck filled with undead sailors — laughing, uncontrolled, entirely unafraid — as the ship rode the waves directly at the falling theater.

The collision.

The mass impact registered like a localized detonation, white light flashing in every direction. David was already flat on the deck with Moon Spirit Elixir wrapped around him. The undead crew dissolved at visible speed from the shockwave. But the Golden Hind's bow drove into the theater's interior like an axe, and the two structures locked — theater and ship, stalemate, neither yielding.

Then Nero came through it like a phoenix, scorching flames, straight at Drake.

Gun and blade clashed again. Drake's short pistol cracked — didn't shatter. Nero's expression reached its floor.

Drake's boot connected.

Nero flew backward from the bow and hit the water hard — and the Golden Theater behind her dissolved into particles. Insufficient magical energy. Full-release Noble Phantasm with the collision overhead, ten minutes maximum without a Command Seal supplement, and she'd burned through it all.

Nero bounced off the water's surface, Lake Spirit protection holding, and came up covered in blood, clothes destroyed, but standing.

Drake wasn't celebrating. She'd nearly been cut in half. Her arms ached. She moved the rudder, brought the cannons to bear—

Something large dropped from the sky and landed on the Golden Hind's bow.

The stern lifted. The entire ship seesawed.

Two enormous feet had crushed through the wooden planks and were holding there, anchored.

From the shoulder of the thing on the bow, a voice Maverick's chat knew immediately:

"Oh my — NO — put me DOWN — I'm going to be sick—"

[Chat]: TEACHER PU

[Chat]: THAT IS DARIUS III

[Chat]: THEY ARRIVED
