"I don't understand what you mean!" Shinno still insisted on acting innocent. "I'm just a doctor. I came to Konoha because Konoha invited me. What are you talking about?!"
Kenichi was already getting annoyed.

Kenichi watched quietly.

When that man turned hostile, even weak willed people would start trembling without understanding why.
"Kill someone," Kenichi said casually.
He grabbed Shinno by the head.
Kenichi was done with this strange roleplaying game. If Shinno refused to admit it, fine. Kenichi could let him die still wearing his mask.
But before Kenichi could finish the motion, he felt it.
The body in his grasp suddenly surged with strength.
A hand clamped onto Kenichi's wrist, and an enormous force twisted, like it wanted to rip Kenichi's arm clean off.
The sudden reversal stunned everyone.
A moment ago, Shinno looked like he was about to be crushed.
Now his face was dark and grim, and his arm muscles bulged grotesquely, swelling into something inhuman.

And he was this famous Doctor Shinno.
"Then let's see what you've got," Kenichi said, almost amused.
Lightning flared in his palm.
It looked like Chidori, but it was far more terrifying. The moment it formed, a bolt of light tore across the village beneath the storm clouds and punched straight through Shinno's body.
Kenichi used the impact to break free from Shinno's grip completely.
Shinno coughed up a mouthful of blood and collapsed, weakly slamming to the ground.
A massive hole had been blasted through his abdomen. Internal organs were shredded and missing.
Kenichi looked down at him, bored.
"Too weak," Kenichi muttered, shrugging.
This was not satisfying at all.
If Kenichi did not still need answers about Ancor Vantian, he would have blown Shinno's head off a moment ago.
Kenichi lifted his gaze to the encircling shinobi and smiled.
"Third Hokage. It's been a long time."
Then, in front of everyone, Kenichi removed the disguise.
The Face Changing Technique peeled away, revealing his true appearance.
Kakashi froze.
He could not believe what he was seeing.
"Kenichi Amamiya…?" Kakashi's voice turned stiff, eyes snapping to the markings near the corners of Kenichi's eyes.
Hiruzen's eyes narrowed as well. Of course he recognized him. Kenichi had been Orochimaru's disciple.
The boy had even called him grandfather once.
Hiruzen had never imagined their reunion would look like this.
Kenichi's smile did not change.
"Third Hokage, where is my junior sister, Mitarashi Anko?"
Hiruzen did not answer.
He took a slow draw from his pipe.
And in the next breath, the shinobi around him moved as one, rushing Kenichi.
They got two steps.
Then they stopped.

"You'll die," Kenichi said softly.

A massive thunder dragon lowered its head from the dark sky, staring down at the village like a god of destruction.
Compared to that creature, Konoha itself felt like it had shrunk.
The chakra contained within it was so immense that even Hiruzen fell silent.
What kind of power was this?
How did this brat possess something like this?
Kenichi looked at the frozen shinobi and smiled, voice calm.
"Third Hokage, I'd like to make a deal with you."
He beckoned.
The thunder dragon lowered its head further, black and red lightning crawling along its scales, making it even more terrifying.
"The residents and ordinary shinobi of Konoha are my bargaining chips now," Kenichi said, tone almost polite.
He understood Hiruzen's character. He understood his weaknesses.
Faced with this, the Third Hokage would likely compromise, because the entire Hidden Leaf was now within range of Kenichi's jutsu.
Konoha had barrier techniques, yes.
But would Hiruzen dare to gamble the lives of the entire village on the hope that Kenichi's thunder dragon could not breach it?

And the attackers were revealed.

Kenichi reappeared nearby with a chuckle, eyes cold.
"Danzo Shimura… you're still as shameless as ever."
Above them, the thunder dragon extended its claws and slowly pressed them against Konoha's defensive barrier.
Kenichi's smile faded.
He was getting angry.
