When I first started publishing, I never imagined it would reach this level. The book has stumbled more than once along the way. At the beginning, I wanted to write a story focused on scientific research in the ninja world. But real scientific research is not something one person can push forward alone, not without help. Progress takes countless researchers and long term work, so it is very hard to make steady breakthroughs with only a single protagonist.
That is why I added the system.
Even then, I did not want the system to feel too overpowered. Up to now, aside from the early boosts like the Hashirama's body and the three tomoe Sharingan, the system's presence has been kept deliberately light. Later, it mainly serves as support. The true technological progress and bloodline research still depend on the protagonist's own study and experimentation.
The same will be true for advancing to the Mangekyo and the Eternal Mangekyo. The protagonist will have to rely on his own research. There will not be any situation where everything is simply handed over like a cheat code.
