After that night Felix just focuses on his training and master the four basic slashes in the given time and today after a month Bastro is going to teach him "So, you learn those sword swings?", "Yes!" Bastro didn't have to ask Felix to show the slashes or test him but by Felix's eyes he can understand that his son has mastered those cuts, "Fine so from today to the next two months you will learn the footsteps technique which I have known and used", because Felix use to watch anime in his previous life so he knows that swordsman learn something like footwork but he didn't know much about those things and he ask "What are footsteps technique?", Bastro with his grin replied "Footstep techniques helps in Balance and Stance, Distance Management and proper distribution of weight of sword and a launching a effectful strike", "…." Felix didn't grasp anything in this reply of Bastro and showed deadpan face and rolling eyes, "Instead of explaining, it will be better to show you-" Felix cut in and ask "How will you perform footwork technique" Felix asked while looking at Bastro's leg and the stick he was using to walk but he didn't mean to make any fun in this question, "Yeah I know what you mean, sir Vomon will come in few minutes and demonstrate, see it properly because he will not come everyday to-" Felix again cut in and ask "You said that I will learn your technique so how sir Vomon will teach me your technique?" Felix knew inside that he was annoying Bastro but still it was making him happy and he didn't want to miss this chance, "You brat!!, don't cut my lines" Bastro pulled Felix's ear and continued "Actually in previous times there were few volunteers who used to travel in villages and set camps for a few months to teach the people some basic sword technique and footwork technique, I and sir Vomon have learned those techniques in the past. Even though most of the knights don't use those very basic methods and use higher levels, for now it will be easier for you to learn these. After you learn sword aura I will pass my techniques on you" Felix eyes glazed and he was glad to know that he will get Bastro's techniques but his mind again put one question at desk "Why are you giving two months to learn footwork", Bastro's evil smirk came and he start speaking "Hah!, if you learn it in two months that is miracle in itself, you just don't have to learn how to perform footwork techniques bare hand, after two months you will use four basic slashes along with footwork and after that you will learn a cadet level sword technique in another three months and after that you have to add both the sword and footwork technique in other two months. And after all these I just hope that your sword aura core will form and if not then you will train four more months to establish an aura core,…are you listening?" Felix was so amazed and bored at the same time that his expression became weird, no, too much weird and more like a frog face.
At evening, after seeing the footwork technique from Vomon which was called Swirl Footwork and it mainly focus on rapid speed and instant sword strike but it has many loopholes that's why no one stick to this technique, 'I have two months but it didn't seem so much hard, anyways I will try to learn it as fast as possible'. After one month and fifteen days at knights' ground, 'Finally!, I learn the technique and even combine it with four basic slashes!, let's do it again' Felix tried to perform the technique which he just learned and it was a scenically astonishing view because Felix performed it perfectly. It was almost evening so he decided to head home and will bring Bastro tomorrow to surprise him. "Fel, you came early today? go get a bath and come to the dining table" Nellie said in a cheerful voice and Felix followed her order with a salute. He went in bed early in excitement to surprise his father tomorrow but something was wrong in Felix's body, he slept but near his chest he started feeling a burning sensation and sit up to drink water, he thought it might be some indigestion issue but that burning sensation just grew more and more, he tried to shout but his voice didn't came, he tried move his feet to run out of the room for help but his legs didn't listen, lastly in unbearable pain and burning he fainted and fell at floor.
A man in the dark room appear out of nowhere and it was the person who had saved Felix before, he was in his night wear gown, yawning in sleepy deprived expression and look at Felix with an irritative eyes and hit Felix's head "You inferior, at least let me sleep peacefully, my head is aching again because of you, Tsk!" that man put his hand at Felix's chest and his expressions change suddenly in amazed look and said "This is worth waking me" silver hair man vanish from the room and the rest of the night Felix slept at floor.
"Hahaha, did you fall from the bed last night?, are you a little baby till now?, really it was fun to wake you today" Bastro was teasing Felix from the morning about his sleeping on floor 'Chew properly moron and let me finish my breakfast first then you will get more fun', "Fel must have been tired by the training that's why he might have fell from bed" Nellie was as always defending his son but Felix stayed calm whole time and after eating he said "Dad, come with me in ground today" Felix remain in his calm composure but from inside he was already imagining the reactions, "What? You want to fight me because I made a joke?Anyways let's go" Bastro said with a smirk and went with Felix.
Surprisingly today many knights were present in ground and sir Vomon is also training today but Felix didn't care much about all those things and took a corner to show his dad, Vomon notice them and went towards Bastro to greet but suddenly Felix loudly said "Look properly, I will give you a gift for that joke" Felix start concentrating before using the technique on dummy but while he was focusing to just remembering every steps, something covered his wooden sword, a golden bright radiant energy covered his sword, Felix's eyes were closed but even after opening it he didn't notice sword and perform whole technique but for some reason his effort and strength which usually needed to cut dummy was reduced three fold. 'Huh? It is so easy to cut-!!' In the end when Felix notices his sword, in fear he throws it and in a few seconds the energy on that sword also disappears, Felix looks at his dad, Bastro's and Vomon's souls jump out of their skins and jaws drop. "HolyShitt!!" Vomon exclaimed and Bastro fainted at ground.
