Chapter 112 - Chapter 113: Naval Battle Ends, Felix's Arrangement

Boom!

Another loud explosion echoed.

The already crumbling warship deteriorated further, with seawater flooding in more rapidly through two large holes.

In the sky, Felix sat in the Dawn's cockpit watching the warship billowing thick smoke. Despite its precarious state, it continued targeting him with its ship cannons and close-in weapon systems.

His hands moved across the controls, evading fire from this warship and others while firing the heavy assault machine gun.

Several rounds found their mark.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Explosions erupted across the warship's hull.

The previously active ship cannons and close-in weapon systems were completely neutralized.

Seeing it had lost offensive capability, Felix shifted focus to other warships.

He manipulated the controls, making Dawn dodge left.

The heavy assault machine gun roared.

Boom!

One explosion later, the targeted warship instantly lost its bow-mounted ship cannon.

Boom!

Another explosion sounded.

The warship's vertical launching system was destroyed.

The missiles inside that hadn't been launched detonated in a catastrophic chain reaction.

The resulting damage far exceeded what Felix's attacks could have achieved.

"Saved me some trouble," Felix murmured, watching the warship split apart from the missile explosions.

His hands were already moving again.

Dodging right to evade incoming fire.

The heavy assault machine gun fired, joined by the new Guuru's machine cannon.

Three attacks streaked along different trajectories toward the forward warship.

Three explosions erupted at different locations on the warship.

The ship cannon, vertical launching system, and superstructure all began belching thick smoke.

Boom!

An even more violent explosion rocked the vessel.

The hull sustained further damage, seawater pouring through breached sections into the warship's interior.

Felix shifted his gaze toward the aircraft carrier carrying vanguard fighters.

The remaining unsunk warships were ignored.

His hands manipulated the controls, guiding Dawn through evasive maneuvers while pressing hard on the pedals to charge directly toward the aircraft carrier.

In the carrier's island command center: "Commander! The Sword of Damocles is heading our way!"

The radar operator watched the situation unfold, face grim as he urgently reported. The Commander responded with calm orders.

"Intercept with firepower!"

"It's impossible to intercept now. He's already broken through our defenses."

The soldier's voice carried traces of despair as he reported the current situation.

The next moment, Dawn appeared before them.

A heavy sword swept toward their position.

"Ah!"

Desperate cries escaped their lips.

Soldiers who rose to flee didn't make it two steps before losing their lives to the heavy sword's destructive path.

After completing the strike, Felix controlled Dawn to evade through the air.

Dodging incoming fire, he disengaged the foot locking mechanisms.

Dawn leaped up from the New Guuru.

Thud!

Dawn landed on the aircraft carrier's deck.

The New Guuru, flying through the air under Felix's control, sped toward a warship.

It maneuvered mid-air to evade attacks and fired its mounted Machine Cannon.

On the aircraft carrier, Dawn raised its Heavy Assault Machine Gun and opened fire on the carrier's deck.

"So thick!"

Seeing that a single shot failed to penetrate the deck, Felix remarked with a tone of mockery.

He raised the gun barrel and blasted a still-operating Close-in Weapon System on the carrier.

Then, adjusting the muzzle, he fired at the island structure beside him.

Compared to the thick carrier deck, the island's armor was much weaker.

A single shot successfully pierced through.

After firing, Felix maneuvered Dawn to move.

He rapidly unleashed firepower on every vulnerable spot of the carrier he could target.

In no time, the entire carrier was billowing thick smoke.

Watching the dense smoke rise, Felix knew full well that these attacks were far from enough to destroy this sea behemoth.

And sinking this aircraft carrier outright wasn't his intention.

He aimed the gun at the carrier's deck and fired.

One shot, two shots, three shots—

After multiple precise shots, Felix successfully blasted a large hole in the carrier's deck.

Through this opening, Felix continued firing inside.

After two more shots, Felix maneuvered Dawn to dodge backward, evading an attack.

Boom!

A Missile struck the carrier's deck from above.

"Thanks for that."Looking at the area blasted by the missile, Felix opened the public channel and provocatively laughed."

Without waiting for a response, he cut off the communication.

The naval battle ended at 1:30 PM on January 15th, lasting one and a half hours.

The sea was now littered with debris and surviving Earth Alliance Forces soldiers.

On the bridge of the Athena, Aric stepped down from the Captain's seat and stood before Felix, asking, "Captain, how should we handle these surviving Earth Alliance soldiers?"

Felix looked up at Aric and replied, "We're not fighting a war of extermination."

"I understand."

Hearing this, Aric immediately knew what to do.

He saluted Felix and replied in a loud, clear voice. Lowering his arm, he turned and left Felix's presence.

"Notify all surviving Earth Alliance Forces soldiers to disarm and surrender immediately!"

After relaying the order, Aric added, "And rescue all Earth Alliance soldiers who comply with the surrender demand."

"Captain Aric, there are quite a few surviving Earth Alliance soldiers. If they all surrender, how will we accommodate them?"

Before Aric ended the communication, a questioning voice came through the comms. Hearing this, Aric glanced at Felix.

Felix looked back at Aric but said nothing.

Aric, withdrawing his gaze, began making arrangements on his own.

"Transfer all supplies from the supply transport ship to other warships and submarine carriers. Temporarily convert the supply ship into a vessel for holding prisoners.

Once the prisoners are secured, have the supply ship return to Carpentaria Base with them."

"Yes, sir!"

After receiving Aric's arrangements, there were no further questions in the communication, and Aric ended the transmission.

"Aric, contact the Earth Alliance through the public channel. Tell them we have a group of their people in our custody and ask what they're prepared to offer in exchange."

Watching Aric complete the arrangements and notifications, Felix smiled as he spoke to him.

Understanding immediately, Aric responded, "Captain, you're really something!"

"What do you mean 'something'? I'm doing this to help these prisoners return home and reunite with their families sooner. Don't make me out to be the bad guy."

Hearing Aric's words and seeing his smile, Felix corrected him with a laugh.
