Damian's POV
As the guards began organizing the staff, I caught Sofia's eye. She gave me a small, encouraging nod. A gentle smile crossed her face. For some reason, that made me feel slightly better about this whole terrible situation.
We would find who did this. No matter how long it took. No matter what we had to do. We would find them, and they would pay for what they did to Heaven.
A heavy wooden table was brought to the center of the room. Desmond sat down on one side, looking weary already. Damon stood behind him, his presence looming like a dark storm cloud. Dylan stood by the door, making sure no one tried to run. I stood next to the table, holding the list of staff names.
"First name," I called out. "Anne Mill."
A young girl, barely eighteen, stepped forward. She was shaking so bad I thought she might fall over. She wore the standard black and white maid uniform, but it looked too big for her small frame. She kept wringing her hands together.
