Damian's POV
I watched Heaven's back as she walked away from us. She didn't even look back at us. She didn't try to look back at me like she would have done.
Normally, she would have a hunched back and put her head down. But today, her back was straight and her head up high. She looked different from the Heaven I have known these past six years and looked more like the one I knew before these past six years.
I suddenly felt angry, who does she think she is? She was just an ordinary daughter of a traitor turning her back at her mate and most importantly her Alphas. She should even be lucky to be in the same room as us, and she should be lucky to be wearing a dress that cost more than most people's salary in a year. Instead, she was walking away from us as if we didn't matter.
I held Sofia tightly by my side as I wrapped my hand around her waist. Heaven was going to feel jealous if she saw me holding Sofia like this, but I wanted her to hurt even more.
