Chapter 71 - Chapter 71: Let's Go Meet Them!

Morning sunlight streamed through the massive floor-to-ceiling windows, spilling into the incredibly luxurious supreme bedchamber.

Frieza slowly opened his eyes. There was no sleepiness in his scarlet pupils, only a clear coldness.

He turned his head and glanced beside him.

The Scarlet Witch, Wanda, was curled up in the silk sheets. Her black lace nightgown, which used very little fabric, barely covered her, outlining her breathtaking curves.

She was still in deep sleep, her brows slightly furrowed, seemingly unable to escape the despair that followed her like a shadow even in her dreams.

"Heh, truly a fragile little thing."

Frieza chuckled lightly and didn't wake her.

After all, as a Galactic Emperor, he had to occasionally show some mercy to his pets.

"Master, you are awake."

Outside the door, Sharon Carter, who had been waiting for a long time, pushed the door open and entered.

Wearing that iconic black and white maid outfit, she carried toiletries and knelt by the bed, her movements practiced enough to be heartbreaking.

With Sharon's service, Frieza leisurely completed his washing up and changed into a brand-new, spotless white suit.

He adjusted his tie in the mirror, looking at the elegant face inside, and nodded with satisfaction.

"Another day full of hope."

"Let's go see how that old man playing with magnets is doing with my ride."

---

Nova Corps Headquarters, now Frieza Legion Base 002.

The originally solemn council hall had now been transformed into a huge display platform.

Magneto, Erik Lehnsherr, was floating in mid-air, behind him a huge red cloth covering some circular object.

Seeing Frieza walk in with elegant steps, Magneto immediately landed.

He knelt on one knee, his face wearing the pride and fanaticism of an artist who had completed a masterpiece.

"Reporting to the King!"

"Your subordinate did not fail the mission! Utilizing Xandar's top-tier anti-gravity engines, combined with the molecular reconstruction technology of Adamantium and Vibranium..."

"Your exclusive vehicle is complete!"

"Oh?"

Frieza raised an eyebrow, a trace of expectation flashing in his eyes.

"Then unveil it and let me see, Erik. I hope your taste isn't as terrible as that red helmet of yours."

"You will definitely be satisfied."

Magneto smiled confidently and waved his hand gently.

Whoosh!

The red cloth slid down.

A rounded aircraft, colored in a premium eggshell yellow and pure white, floated quietly in mid-air.

It looked like a cut egg, with propulsion devices below and an open cockpit above.

The lines were smooth, without any superfluous edges, exuding a minimalist technological beauty.

It was exactly King Frieza's classic hover pod!

But compared to the original, this version had obviously been heavily modified.

A faint metallic luster flowed on the surface, the unique texture of Vibranium.

"According to your request, my King."

Magneto introduced it like a salesman:

"The interior is filled with memory foam borrowed from Stark Industries, and the surface is covered with the softest velvet from Alpha Star."

"Moreover, this is not just an aircraft."

"It integrates a neural connection system. You can directly control its flight path, speed, and even altitude with your mind, as smooth as controlling your own limbs."

Frieza walked around the egg, his fingers gently sliding over the cool and smooth surface.

"Looks not bad."

He leaped lightly and sat elegantly into the cockpit.

Sinking in.

That feeling was like being wrapped in clouds, moderately soft and hard, perfectly fitting every inch of the curve of his back.

"Mmm..."

Frieza let out a comfortable sigh and crossed his legs.

"This cushion is much more comfortable than that broken chair of the Nova Prime."

With a thought.

Hum—!

The anti-gravity engine under the pod emitted an inaudible hum, steadily lifting him up.

Forward, backward, rotate, sudden stop.

There was no discomfort from inertia, as stable as standing still on the ground.

"And this, my King."

Magneto pointed to a button on the side of the cockpit.

"If you encounter sandstorms or a space environment, you can activate this."

Frieza moved his mind.

Zzz—!

A layer of light red semi-transparent energy shield rose instantly, like an inverted bowl, perfectly sealing the cockpit opening.

"Energy cockpit canopy?"

Frieza knocked on the energy wall, making a crisp sound.

"How is the defense?"

"Enough to withstand a direct nuclear hit." Magneto said proudly, "This combines the shield technology of the Nova Corps and my magnetic field shield, double insurance."

"Ohohoho..."

Frieza removed the shield and let out a satisfied laugh.

"Beautifully done, Erik."

"This is the way a Galactic Emperor should travel! Finally, I don't have to fly around myself; that was simply too degrading."

Frieza sat in the hover pod, looking down at Magneto from above.

"Since your craftsmanship is so good, you should be competent for the next task, right?"

"Please command, my King!"

"I want a fleet."

Frieza held up a finger.

"Ten thousand ships. According to the craftsmanship standards of this pod, build me ten thousand space battleships."

"Whether you dismantle the buildings on this planet or hollow out the core, in short, I want the best materials and the strongest firepower."

"One month."

Frieza's eyes became sharp.

"Within one month, I want to see them parked in front of my review stand."

A flash of fanaticism passed through Magneto's eyes.

If it were before, this would definitely be an impossible task.

But now?

All the resources on this planet were at his disposal, all factories running day and night, plus his superpower to control metal...

This was a feast for an industrial maniac!

"No problem, my King!"

Magneto responded loudly, "With the entire productivity of Planet 002, your subordinate guarantees to complete the mission!"

"Very good."

Frieza nodded with satisfaction, controlling the hover pod to spin around, ready to fly back to the top floor to enjoy his lunch.

However.

Just as he flew out of the factory gate and into mid-air.

Boom!

A blue figure fell from the sky like a meteorite, smashing heavily onto the plaza in front of Frieza, kicking up a cloud of dust.

"My King!"

The dust cleared, revealing Apocalypse's big blue face.

"Hm?"

Frieza stopped the hover pod, frowning somewhat unhappily.

"Apocalypse, with this reckless appearance, are you trying to scare this Emperor to death?"

"Subordinate dares not!"

Apocalypse hurriedly knelt on one knee, but the battle intent in his eyes could not be hidden.

"My King! Work has arrived!"

Apocalypse pointed to the azure sky above, his tone revealing a bloodthirsty desire.

"Just now, our radar detected a massive fleet that just warped near the orbit of Planet 002!"

"A huge number! And..."

"It's the Sanctuary II! It's Thanos's flagship!"

"And those disgusting Chitauri!"

"Oh?"

Hearing this, Frieza's originally lazy expression instantly became vivid.

He sat in the hover pod, leaning forward slightly, dangerous light flickering in his scarlet eyes.

"Thanos?"

"And those Chitauri?"

Frieza shook his head helplessly and sighed.

"Really..."

"Back on Planet Earth 001, didn't I already blow up their mothership?"

"What? Wasn't that firework show enough?"

"These bugs, do they only remember eating but not the beating? They actually dare to chase here to die?"

A sneer of extreme arrogance curled Frieza's lips.

He patted the armrest of the hover pod gently.

"Perfect timing. This Emperor just got a new car and was worrying about having nowhere to test drive it."

"Since they are so enthusiastically delivering themselves to my door..."

"Then let's not lack manners."

Frieza waved his large hand.

"Pass down the order! Ginyu Force, assemble!"

"Follow this Emperor to the sky! Let's go meet them!"
