Chapter—The First Battle
The monster screeched.
The sound echoed through the dungeon, sharp and vibrating, sending a chill down everyone's spine. Its massive ant-like body shifted under the dense aura, thick legs scraping against the stone floor as it prepared to attack.
"Stay calm!" Marin shouted, stepping forward instinctively.
She formed a compact aura sphere in her palm, her expression sharp and focused. With a flick of her wrist, she launched it straight at the monster.
The creature reacted instantly.
Its body twisted unnaturally fast, narrowly dodging the attack. The aura sphere smashed into the dungeon wall behind it, leaving a cracked imprint glowing faintly blue.
"It dodged?!" Chika gasped.
Uno clenched his fists. "Then I'll pin it down!"
He gathered his aura and fired a direct attack from the side. The blast struck the monster's armored body—but instead of breaking through, it dispersed, barely leaving a mark.
"What? That did nothing?!" Uno shouted.
The monster retaliated immediately, lunging forward with terrifying speed.
"Scatter!" Marin ordered.
They barely moved in time as the creature slammed into the ground where they had been standing, the impact shaking the entire chamber.
Luke's heart pounded.
Through his vision, information continued to flicker—details no one else could see. The monster's aura flow, its weak points, its movement pattern.
E-rank… but sturdy, Luke realized. This isn't something careless people can handle.
Chika, her hands shaking, gathered aura desperately. Fear threatened to freeze her, but she forced herself to act.
"I—I can do this!"
She released a massive aura sphere. The blast didn't destroy the monster, but the sheer force pushed it sideways, knocking it off balance.
"Good job, Chika!" Marin shouted.
She moved in from behind, striking the monster's exposed back with a sharp, focused attack. Cracks spread across its exoskeleton, aura leaking out like smoke.
But it still didn't fall.
Instead, the monster screeched again—angrier this time.
Luke felt it a second before it happened.
"Uno, move!" he shouted.
Too late.
The monster shot out thick, sticky aura threads from its limbs, wrapping tightly around Uno's arms and legs.
"I—I'm stuck!" Uno yelled, struggling uselessly.
"Uno!" Chika cried out.
She rushed forward without thinking and attacked from behind—but the monster reacted instantly. One thread snapped around her waist midair, stopping her attack completely.
"Chika!" Loid shouted.
The creature slammed her into the dungeon wall and threw her aside. She hit the ground hard and didn't move for a moment.
Something snapped inside Loid.
"You bastard!" he roared.
He gathered every bit of aura he could and hurled a sphere straight at the monster's face. The attack struck cleanly, forcing the creature to stumble backward.
"Luke!" Marin shouted. "Now! Support!"
Luke didn't hesitate.
He compressed his aura tightly, keeping it controlled, just enough to remain within his "average" limits. He threw the sphere with perfect timing.
The attack struck the monster's legs.
Its balance finally gave way.
The creature crashed onto the ground, its aura flickering wildly.
"Finish it!" Luke yelled.
Marin inhaled deeply, her eyes glowing with resolve. She gathered all her remaining aura, shaping it carefully—larger, denser, more refined than before.
"For our guild!" she shouted.
She released the final strike.
The aura sphere exploded upon impact, engulfing the monster completely. When the light faded, only shattered fragments of its exoskeleton remained, dissolving into faint particles of aura.
Silence filled the dungeon.
For a moment, no one spoke.
Then—
"It's… dead?" Uno asked weakly.
Luke rushed to him first, helping tear away the aura threads. "Yeah. You're safe now."
Loid ran to Chika's side, helping her sit up. "Are you okay?"
"I think… so," she said, wincing. "It hurts, but I can move."
Marin knelt beside her and placed a hand over her injury, her creator aura flowing gently. The pain eased slightly.
"Thank you," Chika whispered.
They stood there for a moment, catching their breath.
"That was… real," Uno said quietly. "This isn't training anymore."
Marin nodded. "But we handled it."
They moved deeper into the dungeon and reached the final chamber. Behind a thick door pulsing with aura, something glowed softly.
When they opened it, a single item floated in the center.
"What is that?" Uno asked in awe.
"Should we take it"Loid ask.
"Yah I think so but we should be ready for anything dangerous"Marin reply.
They carefully took it and decided to exit the dungeon.
Outside,They show the item to the government officials, He examined the item and nodded.
"This dungeon has been cleared," one announced. "This ksAura Nebulizer. It slightly enhances aura strength. This is yours you can use it or Sale it to guilde marketplace"
Gasps spread through the crowd.
"How did they do it?"
"Kids cleared a dungeon?"
Some still whispered about luck.
Loid clenched his fists again, but Luke placed a hand on his shoulder.
"We did what mattered," Luke said calmly.
Uno asked what should we do with item.
Marin replied that for now it will be stored in guilde stroage. They store the aura nebulozer and went back to home happily
Luke went Home and told all about his day event to his parent.
They became happy by listening this.
That night, Luke sat alone in his room.
"It was strange… but wonderful," he murmured.
Auru floated gently beside him.
"You faced a monster and survived."
Luke looked out into the dark city.
"I think… I'm starting to like this world a little."
But deep inside, he knew—
This was only the beginning.
End of Chapter.
