Chapter—Creation of Aura Fiest.
Sunday arrived faster than Luke wanted.
The Guild Registration Hall stood tall and silent, its wide entrance lined with people of all ages. Teenagers in school uniforms, adults in casual clothes, even elderly figures—all gathered for the same purpose. Every few seconds, a group stepped inside while another emerged, some smiling, some quiet, some visibly shaken.
Luke stood with Loid, Uno, Marin, and Chika, their newly formed group waiting for their turn.
This was it.
Luke's fingers were cold.
Outwardly, he looked calm—just another seventeen-year-old registering for a guild. But inside, his nerves twisted tightly. Government officials were everywhere. Machines hummed softly. Screens displayed categories and readings.
One mistake.
One slip.
And everything would end.
The news about the last unidentified Aura Master only made it worse. Authorities were openly stating that only one remained undiscovered. Only few Auramaster are remaining to discovered and he is one of them.
Luke could feel the invisible pressure of that fact pressing against his chest.
Their number was called.
They stepped forward together and filled out the registration form—names, ages, categories, roles. When the official stamped the document and nodded, relief briefly washed over them.
They had done it.
They had officially formed a guild.
Luke almost smiled.
Then he saw it.
The large measuring chamber ahead.
A solid, crystal-like structure stood in the center of the hall, embedded with sensors and glowing lines. A digital screen hovered above it.
Power Measurement.
The final test.
The Greatest Challenge and Rock of his life now.
The instructor's voice echoed calmly.
"Each member will generate an aura sphere and release it into the chamber. The system will calculate your output."
Marin stepped forward first.
She opened her palm fully, fingers spread wide, her expression focused. A soft, controlled glow formed above her hand—pure, stable, elegant. When she released it, the chamber responded immediately.
Aura Creator — 4 Star
Reading: Slightly Above Standard
The instructor nodded. "As expected."
Next was Chika.
She formed her aura sphere confidently, her energy sharper, more aggressive. The reading aligned perfectly with her category.
Then Loid.
Then Uno.
Each result matched expectations. Minor fluctuations, nothing unusual.
Luke's turn came last.
The instructor turned to him. "Open your palm. Spread your fingers. The more open you are, the more aura is released."
Luke nodded.
Palm and fingers…
That's the key.
Luke understand the key factor and therefore
He raised his hand.
But instead of spreading his fingers wide, he subtly moved only his pinky finger, keeping the rest closed. The movement was so small that no one noticed.
Except one person.
Marin's eyes narrowed for a fraction of a second.
Luke focused intensely, releasing just a thread of aura—quiet, restrained, controlled.
The sphere appeared.
Small.
Yet when it entered the chamber, the sensors reacted more strongly than expected.
Average — 1 Star
Reading: Equivalent to Average 3–4
The instructor paused.
"Hm," he muttered. "Can a average produce such Aura sphere may be it is his first-time, Users often struggle with control at first. Acceptable."
He moved on.
Luke exhaled silently.
No alarms. No suspicion.
But Marin was still watching him.
She replayed the moment in her mind—the hand position, the finger movement. Had she imagined it? Surely she must have. Luke was Average One Star. There was no reason to overthink it.
She let the thought go.
Luke, however, couldn't.
If just my pinky did that…
What would happen if I used my full hand?
The idea terrified him.
After the test, the group moved to the final desk.
Leadership.
They discussed quietly, weighing options. In the end, the decision was natural.
Marin.
She was intelligent, composed, respected—and strong.
Luke didn't object for a second.
"As for the guild name," the official said.
They exchanged glances.
"For now," Marin said, "Aura Fiest Guild."
The name was registered.
Cards were issued.
Five identical guild IDs were placed into their hands.
For a moment, no one spoke.
Then Uno raised his card.
"We did it."
Chika smiled. Loid laughed. Marin allowed herself a small, satisfied breath.
Luke lifted his card last.
They held them up together.
"We're officially members of Aura Fiest Guild."
Laughter followed. Relief. Pride.
Luke smiled.
But deep inside, a quiet thought remained.
This was only the beginning.
