Chapter 101 - The Clan That Fell First

If this had been before I reincarnated, I probably would've carved my surname onto the moon just to shock the mortals a little — something dramatic, something divine.

Unfortunately, this moon wasn't some mysterious celestial body. It was merely the creation of Hamura Ōtsutsuki — the Sage of Six Paths' younger brother.

Sooner or later, I'll make a planet of my own just to play with.

Soren Uchiha stood upon the crater-scarred lunar surface. His overwhelming power ignored the lethal radiation and void of space. His body sustained itself effortlessly, as if the principles of life no longer applied to him.

This body… was no longer mere flesh and blood.

He could feel it — his form was evolving under the amplification of his power, adapting to the vacuum, moving toward a higher existence.

Strength. It's erupting through every part of me.

The road to invincibility lies beneath my feet.

He admired the world below — the green-and-blue sphere suspended in the dark sea of stars. Using Tenchang-Ritsuzun, everything hidden beneath the lunar crust was projected directly into his mind. With a flicker of movement, he vanished — and reappeared deep inside the moon.

Before him stretched a vast ocean beneath an artificial sun. Islands dotted the horizon, forests thick with vegetation, and stone houses sat among them like relics of a forgotten era.

Far in the distance — perhaps eighty thousand meters away — a violent fluctuation of energy drew Soren's attention. Four flickers later, he hovered above two opposing groups locked in confrontation.

Their skin was pale — nearly blue — reminiscent of ancient Ōtsutsuki lineage. Their flowing robes carried the archaic elegance of the early shinobi era.

There were four to five hundred of them in total. And yet—almost every single one was at least jōnin-level in strength. The leaders on each side radiated Kage-class power, while the head of the main family… was beyond that — Super-Kage level.

A people who had never experienced war, raised in peace and isolation, intermarrying for centuries — their pure Byakugan bloodline had produced terrifying strength.

"You branch family filth dare steal the Tenseigan that our main house has guarded since the time of Hamura!?"

"Steal? You arrogant puppets of the main house have ignored our ancestor's will! The shinobi world founded by the Sage is drowning in bloodshed! Nations treat war as entertainment — a gladiator ring! The world must be destroyed and remade!"

"Nonsense! You are the ones twisting Hamura's teachings! The shinobi world must evolve on its own. Our duty is to guard the Gedo Statue — nothing more! Know your place!"

"Hah! You main-house cowards betrayed Hamura's purpose long ago! Now that the Tenseigan is in our hands, we will fulfill the ancestor's true will — and with the moon, annihilate the shinobi world!"

A lazy voice cut directly through the escalating conflict:

"Oi. If you're gonna fight, fight. What does any of this have to do with the shinobi world?"

Silence.

Hundreds of veins-bulging Byakugan eyes snapped toward the descending intruder. The fan sigil on his cloak — and the burning crimson Sharingan — made several leaders shout in shock.

"Uchiha!?"

"How did you reach the moon!?"

"Did the link to the realm below get exposed!?"

"Wait—why can't the Byakugan penetrate his chakra!?"

Too loud.

Soren's brow twitched. A thought — and an immense Susanoo materialized, its towering form landing upon the island with earth-shattering force.

The ground cracked. The island sank.

Main-house and branch-house alike stumbled, some collapsing outright. Under that crushing pressure, anyone below Kage-level couldn't even stand.

Kneeling.

Crawling.

Staring upward with awe and terror.

A single blasphemous question appeared in their minds:

Even if Hamura himself returned… could he defeat this?

The head of the main house trembled, forcing himself upright as if facing a divine being.

"…Such a colossal Susanoo… Then you must be the current ruler of the shinobi world — Lord Soren Uchiha."

He swallowed.

"If Hokage-sama has come to the moon… for what purpose?"

"Originally, to see how strong the legendary Tenseigan really is."

Soren stretched lazily within Susanoo's crown. "But then I overhear you idiots arguing about destroying the shinobi world. Cute."

He raised his voice — power echoing across the inner lunar ocean.

"Well then — I'm right here. Kill me, and you destroy the shinobi world in one blow."

His tone dripped with amused contempt — the tone of a god confused why ants believed they could bite.

"But tell me — do you actually have that capability?"

"Perhaps that boulder-eye beside you? Ah — pardon — the so-called mighty Tenseigan?"

On the branch-house side, three leaders stood beside a stone-sealed sphere glowing with terrifying chakra.

One attempted diplomacy.

"Soren Uchiha — do not—"

"Annoying."

A crimson flame ignited — and in one instant, the leader was reduced to a screaming torch.

Soren didn't even look down.

Power combined with Tenchang-Ritsuzun had evolved into something else entirely. Within its range — the world itself obeyed him. Thought became action. Delay meant death.

The branch-leader didn't rebuke his trembling subordinates — he understood. Without Hamura's relic beside him, he would be shaking too.

He placed his hand on the Tenseigan, voice steadying:

"Lord Hokage, your strength is undeniable — but to provoke the true legacy of Hamura is arrogance beyond measure."

Soren paused — not because of fear — but curiosity.

The Tenseigan flared.

Golden light enveloped the branch family — teleporting them away.

The artificial sun above burned brighter — impossibly bright.

"The real Tenseigan," the leader's disembodied voice echoed, "is within that sun."

Gasps rippled through the main family.

"They're going to use Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion!"

"They'll destroy us along with the moon!"

"They— they intend to wipe out everything!"

Soren rolled his eyes — and with casual contempt crushed the main clan beneath Susanoo's heel.

"You think I need you shouting in my ear? That amount of chakra could blind me? Shut up."

Their screams vanished beneath the collapsing island.

Then — with wings spreading wide — Susanoo took flight toward the blazing artificial star.

The branch leader's fury roared across the sky.

"You earthborn fool — you have gone too far!"

"Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion!!!"

A blade of golden chakra erupted like a lightsaber capable of bisecting planets — tearing the moon's crust as it swung toward Soren.

"Fall, earthborn — and perish with the moon!!"
