'Cyrene' gazed at Herta, unsure why the woman had suddenly perked up with excitement.
"...Who told you to write your proposal so grandly? 'Construct a world from Memoria, reflect the memories of the real world, recreate it within the Simulated Universe.' How is that any different from Fuli remaking the world?"
The entire concept in her plan was fundamentally designed around the thesis of 'Fuli collecting the world's memories to reshape the world after its end.'
Listening to their debate, Screwllum suddenly spoke up:
"Deduction: Madam Herta's intention is to analogize the difference between Fuli and a Pure Child of Anāsrava, distinguishing whether the past being looked back upon is a segment of time or the entire galaxy."
"See, Screwllum gets it. Unlike a certain blockhead who has zero associative ability. A shame she's even a Pure Child of Anāsrava now."
Herta snapped her fingers and then tilted her head up to look at 'Cyrene.'
"..."
Cyrene was momentarily speechless. She was clearly smarter now, yet Herta had become even more blatant about calling her an idiot.
This woman... was she being considerate or did she just enjoy getting a rise out of people?
"So quit the chatter and get ready to play Fuli in the Simulated Universe."
When you thought about it, the logic of the Aeon Fuli wasn't that different from a Pure Child of Anāsrava.
A Pure Child of Anāsrava devotes itself to mending past karma, allowing the world to move forward.
Fuli is born at the end, looking back to the universe's beginning—the logic is the same.
But then there are Memokeepers' rumors that Fuli intends to remake the world with its memories.
So then.
Does this world follow a logical loop, endlessly cycling from birth to end?
Or is the Cremator's interpretation the correct one:
The previous Fuli mended the past's karma, allowing the world to advance beyond Fuli, but in doing so, trapped that former Fuli in the past.
Thus, the new world still has no Fuli. It must wait for another end, for another Fuli to be born and fill the void.
Letting the world move forward within these cycles.
Which of these two possibilities is real? Or perhaps neither is?
While such things can't be proven...
This kind of speculation is fascinating.
"In this world, memories and Memoria are crucial components. Mimicking the real world to build a small, Aedes Elysiae—didn't another Cyrene in a different timeline do just that?"
It was precisely because Herta, through Nous, had glimpsed those divergent timelines.
Witnessed the methods of those Pure Children of Anāsrava.
That when a genuine Pure Child of Anāsrava who could actually help appeared right beside her...
This idea popped into Herta's head.
Admittedly, just reading the proposal—though bold and insane—it was logically feasible.
And with 'Cyrene' here, this theoretically possible plan actually had a chance of realization.
Right then, Divine Herta suddenly said:
"So the question arises—where do you plan to put this entirely different Simulated Universe? Surely not on the space station again?"
From Herta's perspective, this Simulated Universe, while sharing the same research goals as the one in her memory, was a completely different beast.
Something of that caliber being kept on the space station...
Would only invite the endless, prying eyes of the Ruin Author's cadres, wouldn't it?
Besides, the region around The Blue wasn't exactly abundant in Memoria.
As for Herta City...
The thought of it had just crossed 'Cyrene's' mind, and she glanced at Herta.
Only to see Herta cross her arms:
"Don't even think about Herta City. There's no room."
Screwllum said nothing.
He wasn't the project's initiator; he couldn't just host the thing on Planet Screwllum.
As for Ruan Mei... she didn't even have a fixed base.
'Cyrene'? Even less so—she was a pure vagrant, drifting wherever.
So, everyone looked around.
Their gazes finally settled on Divine Herta, who had posed the question.
"..."
Seemingly having anticipated this very scene, Divine Herta sighed helplessly:
"Isn't it the same for the Land of Light? The environment there is even harsher than The Blue's. Might as well have Bai Ming ask if it's feasible to do it here, on Amphoreus."
The things Herta envisioned for this Simulated Universe were numerous.
Relying on a billion Memoria to create it, and after incorporating excessive simulation fidelity...
Beyond its primary function of researching Aeons, with some expansion, it could fully utilize the properties of Memoria to develop all sorts of different training grounds.
For instance, simulating the Swarm Disaster or the Emperor's Wars to train troops, or using the Simulated Universe for tactical purposes like conducting war games or even predictions.
Just off the top of her head, Divine Herta could think of many applications.
A shame realizing it would also require a suitable environment.
The Asdana star system where Penacony resided was far too saturated.
Amphoreus, being an artificial region, was actually more suited for constructing the main framework.
As Herta's eyes turned toward her, 'Cyrene's' cheek twitched slightly.
Looks like the job of communicating this had landed on her head.
"I'll go ask then. Building a space station here should be possible. You all handle the simulation plans and initial prep work over there? We can link up online if anything comes up."
Divine Herta gave a slight nod.
Most of the preliminary work was well within the capabilities of Herta Space Station.
As for the others, they knew without being told what they each needed to do.
They could follow the original Simulated Universe division of labor.
Just as 'Cyrene' was about to leave, Herta grabbed 'Cyrene's' wrist and pulled her closer:
"Hold on. First, whip up a quick Memoria space. Screwllum and I will figure out how to artificially manipulate memories. We caught a few Memokeepers before; they'll do nicely for research."
Cyrene closed the proposal she had finished reading.
She tilted her head, looking at the keen sparkle in Herta's eyes.
She knew Herta was fully in the zone now.
So what else was there to say? Time to get to work.
As for the 'Memokeepers' Herta mentioned... best to pretend she hadn't heard that.
Her job was just to maintain the Memoria world and cooperate with the others.
So, after setting up a small 'Mnemonic Realm' on Herta Space Station and sourcing local materials—feeding in some memories from both the station and Amphoreus—Cyrene finally left the space station.

Returning to Amphoreus.
The Marmoreal Palace, visited many times in the game, was her first time seeing it in reality.
In this relaxed bathhouse, 'Cyrene' encountered two unexpected characters.
"Wow~ So this is the other Miss Cyrene? Pleasure to meet you. You can call me Sparkle."
Sparkle squinted her eyes, grinning as she looked at the newly arrived Cyrene.
Standing beside Sparkle was Oswaldo.
Though compared to their last meeting,
He seemed less sharp-edged this time.
"Hello. I am Oswaldo Schneider of the Interastral Peace Corporation."
"This is Vice-Director of the Strategic Investment Department, Sparkle. We are here representing the Corporation to assist Amphoreus in integrating more swiftly into the galactic trade system."
After a symbolic light handshake with Oswaldo, 'Cyrene' glanced over at Aglaea, Tribios, and Cerydra standing to the side.
Captain Ken, representative of the Land of Light; and Himeko, navigator of the Astral Express.
"..."
Talk about bad timing.
