Chapter 29 - Star Rail Impostor! - 29

Celenova arrived at a world being crushed beneath the weight of the Antimatter Legion's main force.

The warp lane wasn't blocked.

In fact, it seemed deliberately left open, as if inviting people in.

As far as the eye could see, an endless army of Destruction was gathered together.

Celenova didn't spot that damned figure; he probably wasn't on the front lines. But she could feel a certain dominating power.

A power that bound the entire Legion together.

"...It can't be Order, can it?"

Celenova was somewhat puzzled.

But she couldn't be sure. After all, even Harmony, her own kin, could take on a coercive nature.

Besides, the relationship between Order and Harmony was subtle enough that if they tried to mimic each other, at first glance, it'd be hard to tell them apart.

"No wonder the Rangers wanted to lure the Swarm here."

Celenova gazed at the vast Legion. If they just charged in head-on, the Galaxy Rangers would be utterly doomed.

Her ship passed straight through the Legion's forces and entered the besieged planet.

It landed in a city that was still relatively intact.

Night had just fallen in this region, but the streets were nearly empty.

Aside from the obvious Galaxy Rangers, the local inhabitants didn't look like they were in good shape.

It seemed this world had already been ravaged by the Legion, just not completely destroyed yet.

Celenova stepped out of her ship.

A rather ordinary-looking man was already waiting there.

"Galaxy Ranger La Mancha. A pleasure."

"Celenova."

Celenova gave a slight nod, then glanced around.

Judging by this city, the world's technological level wasn't very advanced, likely newcomers to the galaxy.

A pity they had to suffer a destructive blow so soon.

"Your people lured the Legion here?"

"Yeah. At first, it was just a small contingent. The Rangers discovered this place and helped wipe them out. But who knew Zulo's main army was right behind them? He initially tried to get the Rangers to leave, but…"

La Mancha briefly outlined the situation.

A rather classic script.

The Rangers refused to back down, so they sent out a signal, aiming to rally the Rangers for one big fight.

This wasn't the era of the main story, where Rangers were almost extinct.

Right now, the Galaxy Rangers were highly active.

They didn't rely solely on the Myriad Arrows Decree to communicate either.

(T/N: If someone could tell me the name of the bullet that gathers Galaxy Rangers i would be grateful)

Zulo must have realized this.

And it bought the Rangers some preparation time.

"Understood. So, when do we move?"

'Celenova' glanced at her panel:

She'd barely moved these past couple of days.

This identity had a little over twenty days left.

If this guy told her the plan was to act a month from now, she'd probably just charge in herself right now.

Fortunately, La Mancha laughed: "Whenever you're ready. The Rangers have already found a suitable barren cluster nearby—no inhabited planets. We can fight without restraint."

La Mancha had been waiting for the right moment, though he wasn't entirely sure when that would be.

But Celenova's arrival made the right moment 'now'.

"Using a barren cluster? But luring Zulo there will probably cost a lot of lives."

'Celenova' didn't reject the plan outright.

"Our enemy is an Emanator of Destruction. No matter the plan, many will die."

There was no laughter in La Mancha's eyes, only a burning desire to kill Zulo.

"But with Lady Celenova joining us, things will be much better, won't they?"

'Celenova' didn't deny that. Instead, she looked at La Mancha curiously:

"I thought you'd want to spend a few days feeling me out before deciding to fight. But you seem… impatient?"

"For a Galaxy Ranger, standing on this scarred land, no one can bear not striking back for revenge. If not for waiting for you, Lady Celenova, I'd have launched the Myriad Arrows Decree yesterday."

"Alright." 'Celenova' nodded.

She was getting a new impression of the Galaxy Rangers' temperament.

"Then, let the hunt for Zulo begin now."

A smile spread across 'Celenova's' face.

The stellar rings, previously concealed, materialized around her body as she gradually floated into the air.

The power of Harmony rapidly expanded, engulfing the entire planet.

Everyone on the planet who still held a will to resist the Antimatter Legion was drawn into the Symphony.

La Mancha felt that state of being 'of one heart and one mind'.

The smile on his face grew wider and wilder!

"Hahahaha—!!! Good! Very good! Zulo!!! YOUR DEATH HAS COME!!"

Boom—!!

Howling with laughter, La Mancha raised his rifle high.

A single shot, transformed into a soaring star, bloomed against the pitch-black night sky.

The will of the Galaxy Rangers seemed to condense into a single, brilliant chess piece, shooting heavenward!

In that moment, Celenova, linked with all the Rangers, felt it too.

That day, the collective will born from the gathered Rangers manifested as an extremely radiant beacon.

Simultaneously, Galaxy Rangers scattered across the cosmos, no matter what they were doing or where they were, saw that rising shooting star.

And felt the rage, the desire to tear all injustice to shreds!

In that moment, every Ranger, whether previously contacted or not, set aside their current tasks.

They took up their arms, followed the direction of the shooting star, heeding the bullet's guidance.

Transforming into slivers of light meant to tear the darkness, they crossed the sea of stars, converging upon this nameless star system!

Just minutes later, countless streams of light ripped across the sky, illuminating the night.

Seeing this, Celenova unleashed the power of Harmony once more, expanding it wildly.

She drew all those countless shooting stars into the Symphony's melody.

These Rangers, united by a single purpose, joined the Symphony even more proactively than she had imagined.

The wills of millions gathered together, forging a power of immense strength.

Maintaining her standing posture, Celenova instantly broke through the atmosphere, arriving in the void of space.

She looked toward the rioting Legion.

Countless points of light ignited within the massive army.

Then, millions of beams converged into a torrent capable of annihilating a star in an instant, crashing down toward the planet!

Celenova let out a soft laugh.

Her form suddenly began to grow, transforming in an instant into a towering giantess.

She raised her right hand and swung it fiercely toward the colossal pillar of light!

The sharp claws on her fingertips carried the collective will of the entire group.

They became rending scars across the heavens, violently tearing apart the Legion's combined assault.

Light and shockwaves exploded outwards in a chaotic tide, but they were ripped asunder by the residual force of the claw marks, failing to harm the world below in the slightest.
