*He staring at me with a puzzle in his eyes as waiting for me to give a response,
"Can we have a talk" *He said more politely, I was still don't know what to say to him , I really want to shout at him to go but still wondering what he wants to say?.
"I don't wanna talk to you" *that was my response*
"I promise I won't take long" *He said with a promise tone*
"What's with you?...I just don't get it..... you lied and then I just figured out your father is Gecko , what's more you want?....he sent you to kill me?....then go ahead" *I said with an extremely angrily voice.
"Kill you? Why? (Pause),I just don't get it as well...I thought you know me, I'm also curious like how could you not remember?" *He said ,he lowered his voice then staring at me.
"Why would I remember you? " *I said with displeased gesture at him as the elevator reached upstairs and opened , I stepped out ,he followed me.
"Wait.... your father and my father were friends " *He said as this statement he told me the day when he was in basketball field , I stood still.
"Impossible!" *I responded clearly unimpressed by his words and then he take his phone from pocket and showed me the pictures of king Gecko and my father(Jones) and then he tap on another picture, I couldn't believe my eyes, it was Gecko ,Jones , Raphael and me (on my 8-9 yrs).
After saw that suddenly I felt headache and my eyes went blur like I was recalling something, hearing voices like,
'Ivy say Hi to Raphael' that was a man voice
'Ivy wanna play piano?' It was a little boy voice
"You okay?" *Raphael voice snapped me back from the memory that gave me headache , and then I turned to face him.
"How about Patrick?...why he isn't on the pictures?" *I asked.
"Since your mom gone..... I never saw your father with Patrick, like when he comes to visit us in Eaager he would come with you " *Raphael explained as I barely have a memory of a single word he say but I have like feeling like it's happened but why I don't remember?.
"Me , You. Happened to be friends occasionally.... until, the day your father and my father stopped visiting each other, you were sent abroad, and never heard from you" Raphael said
"And the day I saw you talking selfie , I was shocked and happy and terrified at same time, I knew if you see me you wouldn't talk to me cause of our current countries situation but you didn't excitate to give me your phone" *he said and I interrupted him
"Well I don't think I can buy your story, cause you are Raphael Gecko as far as I know your father k*lled our president and held our people hostages"
"Ivy..... Yes ,I'm Raphael Gecko.... And I wanna figured out what happened, that made my father got framed, he would never do such a thing and if you listen to me, I'm going to make you remember everything I said "
"Maybe I don't remember for good " *I said stubbornly.
"I really want to do this for the best of the state of the countries, there's something else going.... and your the only hope I have" *Raphael said and then I remembered when Hannah told me about the past war of her country was part of the plan of some people who were benefited from the war.
"I have conditions" *I replied
"Are we really seriously going to do that?....(Pause), Fine I'm all hears" *He responded.
"I wanna know why I don't remember when I was a kid..... and, also if you lied to me about..... about.... being friends occasionally in our childhood, I'm going to make you regret it..... And don't talk to me unless it's necessary, do we have a deal?" *I said, even though I don't trust him there's a hint of curiosity of my past.
"Of course we do... and I'm looking for the truth proof about my father not guilty , and make things right" *He said.
"Don't forget I still don't trust your father.... Or even you.... Untill we figured out what's going on" *I said and then he nodded
"We don't know who's traitor, Ivy... so be careful not trust anyone... we've to figure it out silently" *he spoke
"I don't trust you either" *I said
"Ivy this is for our safety... I won't tell anyone and so do you" *Raphael said
"Then what's your plan?...." *I asked him and then he pulled me on the corner.
"Listen, lately I just don't understand my friend..... he's like hiding something " *He whispered and then I rolled my eyes*
"So you think your tiny friend can be the source of the misunderstanding of our countries?....be serious Raphael!" *I said and then he gritted his teeth*
"Jeez Ivy, Even a tiny ant can kill an elephant but what I meant was my friend Kylie seems like hiding something from me" *He said
"Wait, did you say Kylie?.....The one I saw earlier this evening" *I asked and he agreed, then I started to tell Raphael what I overhead Kylie said *
"I knew something was off " *He said and wrap his hands into fist.
"We're not sure to say what he was talking is connected to the misunderstanding of our countries... let's start like this, How you and Kylie met?" *I said, I was starting to be comfortable with Raphael.
"His father is General (Commander)of Eaager....The day Haskins' tourists shot de*d my father was on Village tour across the country and General Huzzah was on charge....I don't wanna conclude this but I think he's my first suspect " *Raphael said and then I smirked.
"The we got the lead on the case....how about my memories and pictures you showed me?" *I asked*
"(Sigh), I meant everything I said" *Raphael said and then we didn't have much to talk as we're not even in friend zone , but he said we were friends in childhood, it's still hard to believe.
