Having fully grasped and deeply understood Yuko's overwhelming strength, Enmu clenched his teeth.
"If that's the case, then I'll drag every human on this train down with me!"
From the moment his clone was exposed and destroyed—and Yuko refused any possibility of reconciliation—Enmu had already abandoned all hope of escape.
Yuko's expression remained calm.
"If you can do it, then go ahead and try."
With the Flame Hashira and the others present, Yuko had no concern whatsoever for the safety of the rest.
The train suddenly began to shake violently. The fleshy walls all around writhed fiercely.
Tentacles molded from clumps of flesh burst forth from the walls, each one forming a grotesque head bearing Enmu's face.
At the same time, eyeballs the size of human hands emerged from the surrounding flesh. On their pupils was engraved the character "Dream."
The sight was profoundly sanity-draining.
"Blood Demon Art: Eyes of Forced Unconscious Sleep!"
Countless eyes fixed their gaze on Yuko as strange ripples spread outward. The train swayed like a ship at sea, yet Yuko's stance remained completely unaffected.
Enmu's heart sank. As expected—this woman truly was abnormal.
Her overwhelming mental strength almost entirely ignored his hypnosis. She was practically his natural nemesis.
Whoosh—whoosh!!!
Another wave of tentacle attacks followed.
From all directions—including beneath Yuko's feet—thick tentacles shot out from the flesh, whipping through the air in grotesque arcs as they lunged toward her.
Yuko stood unmoving. Her gaze sharpened slightly as she slid her right foot back, raising her Nichirin Blade to eye level, the hilt drawn behind her head.
A red-and-white cadence flowed from her lips.
"Snow Breathing: Eleventh Form — Crimson Furnace Snow."
As her clear, cold voice rang out, the Nichirin Blade in her hand erupted with scorching heat. Orange flames wrapped around the snow-white blade, stirring a powerful gust that swept the surroundings.
Whoosh!
A streak of red light flashed forth, fast as an arrow. Enmu barely saw the crimson glow swell before his eyes before the head guarding the front of the driver's cabin shattered instantly.
The red light flashed again, plunging straight into the cabin wrapped in flesh.
Like the arrival of spring, melting accumulated snow.
As the crimson light pierced through, the surrounding flesh walls dissolved visibly, like snow burned away by roaring flames—like a fireball plunging into a snowdrift.
With a single strike, the entire driver's cabin was cleared out, leaving only small remnants of flesh clinging to the sides, slowly writhing as they attempted to regenerate.
"It… can't regenerate?!"
The many Enmu heads growing from the tentacles all showed shock.
Why?!
Ever since encountering this woman, incomprehensible things had happened one after another.
And no matter how desperately he called out Lord Muzan's name in his heart, there was no response.
Seeing the floating heads before her, Yuko frowned slightly and swung her blade again.
"Snow Breathing: Third Form — Frost Sky Dance!"
Snow-colored slashes burst outward in all directions, severing every single head.
"Damn it! You're a demon too—why would you betray Lord Muzan?!" Enmu's falling head screamed in rage.
"I never pledged loyalty. There can be no betrayal."
Enmu had invaded her dream and knew her identity, which did not surprise Yuko.
She also wasn't worried about revealing herself to demons anymore—though being exposed to a Lower Rank did irritate her somewhat.
It showed a complete lack of self-awareness.
Who do you think you are, that you deserve to know who I am?
She wasn't worried about him leaking the information either, because—
Lower Rank One, Enmu,
was already a caged bird.
Yuko walked toward the driver's cabin. No matter how desperately Enmu tried to regenerate the flesh walls, it was useless.
Before the Sun Breathing, a demon's greatest advantage was infinitely weakened.
Tap, tap…
Her heels rang crisply against the metal floor of the cabin. Enmu was like a pig bound over boiling water, utterly incapable of escape.
Yuko raised her Nichirin Blade and flipped her wrist.
"Snow Breathing: Sixth Form — Snowfall Across Ten Thousand Miles."
A white tidal wave surged around her as snow-colored slashes swept toward the base of the driver's cabin.
Just as the attack was about to strike the metal floor, Enmu finally refused to wait for death.
A violent, overwhelming tremor surged forward from the rear of the train.
Like a massive iron whip being swung with all its might, the tremendous momentum caused the front carriages to shake violently.
This shaking was on an entirely different level from before—like being in a small boat caught in a raging storm at sea.
The entire train creaked and groaned in agony, as though it might overturn at any moment.
Yuko's body staggered, and she was flung out of the driver's cabin.
Dense clusters of flesh erupted from the cabin floor and rapidly spread.
As Yuko landed and regained her footing, she saw that the carriage had already tilted by dozens of degrees and was on the verge of toppling over.
Bang!
She stomped hard on the floor, producing a sharp explosive sound.
The tilted carriage was forced back down—pressed flat by sheer force.
Watching the driver's cabin rapidly form new defensive structures, Yuko frowned slightly.
"A pointless struggle."
As she spoke, she had already decided not to waste any more time.
A cold gleam flashed along her blade as she exerted force through her legs.
Suddenly, a tremendous sound erupted behind her, and orange flames were reflected in the nearby window.
That flame—
Before Yuko could turn around, Tanjiro's clear, powerful voice rang out.
"Miss Yuko!"
Sensing Tanjiro's approach, Yuko shifted half a step to the side.
Perfect timing.
A flame-cloaked figure brushed past her. Tanjiro leapt forward, a massive dragon head formed of fire in his hands, smashing toward the driver's cabin.
"Sun Breathing: Eleventh Form — Fake Rainbow!"
Boom!
A thunderous explosion rang out.
Orange flames scattered everywhere as the freshly regenerated flesh was dissolved once again.
"That brat!!" Enmu's pupils trembled violently.
That was the Demon Slayer Lord Muzan had mentioned—the one with the hanafuda earrings!
It wasn't over yet.
Tanjiro's Nichirin Blade didn't stop. After cutting through layers of flesh, he struck downward toward the base of the cabin.
The scent there was deeply wrong.
He had sensed it while approaching.
Boom!
The metal floor shattered instantly, revealing a massive structure beneath—eerily resembling a spinal column.
As Tanjiro's blade crashed down, the enormous vertebra emitted a mournful cry.
"How dare you!!" Enmu roared in unwilling fury.
Carrying the momentum of flame, the strike severed the massive spine in a single blow.
Boom!
With the spinal column cut, the driver's cabin separated from the rest of the train and derailed, tipping violently to the side.
"Tanjiro!"
Standing in the adjacent carriage, Yuko reached out and caught him, pulling him back.
"Thank you so much, Miss Yuko!"
"It's fine," Yuko replied with a gentle smile.
Before she realized it, she could already see Yoriichi's shadow within Tanjiro.
This boy was fighting with everything he had.
Boom!!
With Enmu's death, the flesh masses controlling the train went berserk, swelling and nearly bursting from the carriages.
Just as they were about to spiral out of control, bright orange flames ignited throughout each carriage.
As the train cars derailed and overturned, the grotesque, revolting flesh unexpectedly served as a buffer, reducing the impact of the crash.
As expected of a Hashira—finding the optimal solution in such a short amount of time.
