Chapter 101 - Chapter 101: Nero's Flaws

After gathering all the materials and repairing the mine cart, everyone could finally move forward.

Here, everyone got to see Nero's chainsaw riding flight.

In the original story, the group pushed the mine cart, took down the Gear Wolf, and continued on foot.

But now, this part had changed into the player-controlled characters riding the mine cart. You could control the cart's forward and backward movement and get off at any time.

When the characters were sitting on the mine cart, you could see Nero flying alongside them on his chainsaw, keeping pace with the cart.

And while riding the mine cart forward, dialogue would play. You'd hear Nero trying to teach March and Star how to fly with a sword, and during this time you'd also see Nero making movements on the chainsaw, attempting to demonstrate.

"Holy crap! Chainsaw flying!" Siberian Duck shouted. "Little Fish, I want to learn this!"

[Dan-heart Eternal: The Trailblazer and March want to learn too!]

[Nero's Sword: Little Fish is really teaching, it's just… not very good teaching.]

[Where Can This Life Get Drunk: Looks like Little Fish doesn't really have a talent for teaching. I've found Little Fish's weakness!]

[Drunk Then Awake Again: But that just makes Little Fish even cuter. Not being able to explain it clearly and teaching by doing is way too adorable.]

After the dialogue ended, this part of the story entered a cutscene.

In the cutscene, it showed Nero bringing Star and March onto the chainsaw to experience chainsaw flight, then stopping the mine cart. After that, the Express crew all flew off together.

"Holy crap!" Siberian Duck let out a strange cry, then gritted her teeth and said, "Damn it! I may be the Trailblazer, but the Trailblazer isn't me!"

[Iced Bitter Tea: Honest question, is this streamer always this philosophical?]

[Dan-heart Eternal: For a moment I don't even know who to envy. I want to go up there too!]

[Aha's Messenger: Bro! I want to play this! Let me play just once, just once, the last time! I swear I'll never touch it again after this, I just want to play once right now! I feel so awful right now, please bro, just let me play once! I feel like there are bugs crawling all over me! I'm so hot! I also want to hug Little Fish and fly with a sword! Let me play once, bro!]

[Belobog Savage: The most in-character episode yet.]

[Little Fish Is My Dad: I want to play too! [twisting] [wriggling] [making dark strange noises] [constantly wriggling]]

Sword flight, especially sword flight with March and Nero on both sides, was something no one could resist wanting to experience.

After the cutscene ended, the game screen directly shifted to the Geomarrow vein in the inner ring of the mining area, where players saw Clara and Svarog.

Then came a "dragon's roar" from Nero.

The Trailblazing squad made a cool yet abstract entrance, nearly overheating Svarog's core processor.

"Wow, so cool. But… hahahaha! The people below are all stunned. This really smells like 'playing with kids,' doesn't it?" Siberian Duck laughed like a good bro.

[Dan-heart Eternal: Teacher Dan Heng's landing was so cool!]

[I Like Grilled Cheese: What kind of Super Sentai entrance pose is this?]

[My Pee Is Yellow: What's wrong with playing with kids? If I could play with Little Fish for an hour, I'd quit jerking off for a whole week!]

[Pom-Pom: Holy crap, that's a heavy oath. I can already feel Brother Yellow's determination!]

[Twisty: If anyone else said this, I wouldn't comment. But if Brother Yellow said it, I'd actually think aliens have already started invading Blue Star.]

In the following story, March also said things like Clara being very similar to Nero.

But as players, it was hard to feel much resonance, since the character models wouldn't change. The similarities between Nero and Clara were probably only "teenager" and "white hair."

…Of course, there were also a few Clara fans who agreed that Nero and Clara were similar. As for why they agreed with that view, no one really knew.

But it wasn't a big issue. When the setting hadn't been fully revealed yet, players would just fill in suitable details on their own.

What's more, this was just a harmless line. At least at this stage, the vast majority of players wouldn't care about it.

Maybe only later, when the settings became more detailed, or in posts aimed at "uncovering the secrets of Nero," would this part be circled and discussed together with Pom-Pom's earlier exclamation.

The mission continued. Seele soon arrived with Bronya, and after negotiations with Svarog failed, everyone began fighting the mechanical army.

Siberian Duck also entered combat here, facing the Robot called Mills.

After the battle ended, another cutscene played.

This part showed everyone a panoramic view of the battlefield. You could see the Express crew casually holding back, and also see Nero constantly jumping and slashing.

In the end, because Nero felt that jump-slashing was too slow, he decided to use his ultimate, instantly clearing all the enemies on the field, while he himself "tiredly sat down on the ground."

"Huh? Wait, " Siberian Duck slammed the table twice and said unhappily, "I worked so hard just to beat one Robot, and when it gets to Little Fish he just one-shots everything?"

[I Use Pantene: Reasonable. Combat is combat, story is story. How could they be the same?]

[Siberian Little Black Duck: Correct. Little Fish is Little Fish, you are you. How could they be the same?]

[Aha's Messenger: No problem. A sword immortal is a sword immortal, the streamer is the streamer. How could they be the same?]

"No, I… you guys, tsk…" Siberian Duck was honestly angered by her own viewers. She couldn't say a word and could only clench her fists and pound the table a few more times.

After venting a bit, Siberian Duck continued following the story. Nero, having forgotten to take a photo for Mr. Yang, ultimately decided to send Mr. Yang a lump of scrap metal instead. Of course, there was also the part where Seele and Bronya marveled at Nero's strength.

"Hahahaha! Mr. Yang really won't mind? Everything's been beaten into scrap metal!" Siberian Duck laughed.

[Aha's Messenger: Little Fish, when you take photos for Mr. Yang, Mr. Yang is happy. But the attitude you take photos with, Mr. Yang really doesn't like. Is this the kind of thing you can just half-ass? Mr. Yang asked you to photograph robots, not broken robots.]

[Mr. Yang's Cane: Mr. Yang gets so angry he jumps off the train on the spot!]

[Belobog Savage: March: It's just potential bursting out, you can do it too! Seele: Huh? Me?]

[July Three: Now it's Seele's turn, right? Do you think I'm just dumb or something?]

[Group Stickers: March: You can do it too! Seele: I don't think I have that kind of power.]

The story continued.

After defeating Svarog's army, everyone finally met Oleg.

As soon as they met, Nero and Star messed around a bit.

Oleg was a very easygoing person, and a good one too. He even took Bronya's feelings into account and decided not to complain about the Supreme Guardian anymore.

However, Nero was blunt and straightforward…

Siberian Duck tugged at the corner of her mouth and said somewhat helplessly, "Little Fish really is… uh… the type to always get even."

[Lan: How about taking a look at the Hunt?]

[Sword Saint: Warning! Warning! Warning!]

[I'm Really Not a Hater: Hehe! Red-skinned duck!]
