*Labucha Mountain Range*
Near the banyan looking entangled tree structure lay a rock jutting out of the ground, seemingly overturned by the growing thick roots.
It looked no better than a normal phenomenon in most cases.
Yes… normal to any, but abnormal.
And as a matter of untainted fact, our extra is abnormal….
"So… this is there…"
He vocalised his actions to concentrate more, theorising his conjecture on this suspect where his self proclaimed sequencing opportunity lay.
"That maybe there to… pull?"
He inspected the tree closer, as if finding anything that might be out of normal to be revealed in front of him.
'Should I be worried?'
"Nah…."
With a bout of confidence, he pulled the vine-like structure that seemed to be the one remotely in contact with the rock.
'Oohh….'
And with what felt like the roar of some mechanism, the entire side part of the trunk came undone to reveal a cavity inside.
The hidden area was so ingeniously concealed that there was no proper way to find it unless one knew something was hidden beforehand.
It had the trunk perfectly preserved, serving as a raw exterior that made it not feel hollow to touch, and the rock structure utterly normal in form, with multitudes of vines serving as disruption.
"Is that a suitcase?"
In the hollow cavity, Zain, blessed by his spirit of absolute confidence and pampering of Lady Luck, was met with a locked metal case.
'How do I open it?'
As he extracted the case to inspect it, the tree reassembled itself back perfectly, leaving a stunned Zain in its wake.
"Forget what's inside, but damn, that was awesome."
His amusement quickly morphed into disgust.
'Makes me wonder who designed that lame swamp area…'
As if nothing had happened, he put the suitcase inside his space bag like it was just something he retrieved en route.
"Hwaahh…."
'Damn… I am tired…'
He suddenly turned toward the mountain and bowed.
"Thanks for treating this extra with no knowledge, Mr. Clichéd Mountain."
Straightening his back, he continued.
"I owe you one for these gifts."
After performing his ritual, Zain returned to the main path leading down the range.
'Should look into everything once again after reaching the hotel.'
"Fufufu… I can't wait."
His voice giddy and steps jolly, Zain descended the mountain range toward the entrance.
*A Hotel Room*
In a hotel room with minimal amenities that seemed to scream temporary stay lay a young man.
His clothes were scattered across the floor, and he appeared wrapped in nothing but a bathrobe in the name of modesty.
Outside the windows, obscured by blinds, appeared an expanse of the city going through its usual nightlife.
In that tranquil state, a foreign intrusion of sound stirred the prince awake.
"Mhhmmm…."
He flailed his arms around to shut whatever was disturbing his beauty sleep.
Finally, as if enraged, the boy straightened up and fetched the noisy machine.
"Hello!!"
The boy whimpered a greeting, tiredness heavy in his voice.
"Young Master, this is Khan… I hope you remember the timing for returning home."
What followed was obvious to anyone in this particular situation… silence.
"Hahahaha… ahem… yes, Uncle, of course I remember."
Putting the phone on speaker, Zain started gathering clothes from his space bag in a hurry while continuing the conversation.
"I was just prepping for the journey, you see…"
"By the way, Uncle, I got a huge haul."
His voice suddenly grew excited.
"The trip was not in vain at all…"
"Oh… I hope you can pick treasures in safe spaces… like home… boy…"
Khan's voice dipped slightly, as if warning Zain about the thickness of the walls around him.
"Ah!"
Zain jolted and cooled down.
"Yes, I do know that, Uncle."
"And I will only tinker after I get home."
"I promise."
He reassured the butler, alleviating his worries.
'Damn…'
Looking at his state he voiced.
"I almost missed the train."
"What did you say, boy?"
His self-thought was suddenly interrupted by the still open call.
'Shieet!'
"Nothing, I was muttering to myself…"
"Don't worry, I'll call you after I board… Bye…"
"Youn—"
Cutting the call, Zain relaxed slightly and started packing the items strewn across the floor.
'He really does worry a lot, ey…'
His expression softened, becoming slightly more mirthful.
Zain, packed and ready, exited the hotel and entered a cab toward the railway station.
'Now that I think about it.'
"It's time an arc is finished, huh…"
Contemplating his current situation and pondering what this haul would entail for his future.
