As Anna continued teaching the volunteers how to use the plasma guns, Jimmy minded his own business, mostly, and continued to alter the clones, one Compy at a time.
The process was lengthy, because although the syringe was gravely useful, it wasn't exactly known for its speed.
Bumping a Compy one scale up from its original size took nine whole minutes.
The second scale took sixteen minutes on its own.
Last but not least, the third scale took twenty-five minutes on its own!
All together, it would take fifty whole minutes just to jack up a clone at maximum size, and although the results were great, the process was simply too long.
"Looks like I'd only be able to jack up ten clones at most, huh?" He held his head, frustrated. "That's not enough… throws our entire damn plan into a pile of shit!"
No one heard him ramble through complaints, as they were focused on the guns. This might be a good thing too, because he didn't want to demotivate the volunteers in any way.
