The next morning, Jimmy and Anna woke up, kissed each other to start off their morning well, and then they went ahead to handle their separate tasks. Well, Anna had actual work to do today, as for Jimmy, he was just going to play around with the cool stuff he may, or may not find in the bunker.
The greatest 'task' for him was all the walking he was supposed to do today. For example, just after he woke up and kissed his girlfriend, he was greeted by a flight of stairs that stretched a whole thousand feet downwards, or over three hundred meters.
Facing such a challenge right after the crack of dawn, while drowsy and a bit dehydrated, was no easy task. He was almost convinced to give up halfway there, but then he imagined having to walk the equal distance upstairs if he turned around, so he gave up on giving up.
"Hmm…" He stroked his chin, "What if I jump…? I'll either break my neck, or get down there quicker?"
After some more contemplation, he decided, "Eh, worth the risk."
