Dangers across the grasslands were looming, and heading towards a bloodbath sooner or later. Unlike other predators, humans had this great need to expand their hunting grounds, even if they weren't exactly starving.
Tribe Chiefs got goosebumps over the idea of taking the grasslands from the palms of a small tribe, who in their eyes, couldn't defend the grasslands as their own anymore. That was one thing, and the other benefit that came from claiming the grasslands as their own, was the fact that the grasslands were superior hunting grounds!
Unlike the west hills, which were riddled with dangerous cliffs, and a constant drop in elevation, the grasslands were mostly flat, and therefore easy to maneuver, and not to mention, riddled with big game, such as large, long-necked herbivores on migration!
