Jimmy broke in his new boots, to have a feel of how they were like. They fit well, but as he started walking around with them, he noticed that there was something wrong with the boots. Well, not necessarily wrong, but they didn't behave like normal boots did.
For example, each time he took a step, and then lifted his foot up to take another step, he felt a push from behind him. The push was coming from the boots, they were pushing him up, just slightly, which was surprising, considering how heavy they were.
"Hmm…" He stroked his chin. "Maybe they kick up to make walking easier? That suit did look heavy, I'd imagine that boots, which help you walk faster, or easier when you have a heavy load on, must've been infinitely useful."
