POV: Ariel
The sounds of groaning rang out as many young men and women lay sprawled across the floor.
In a relatively nice hall built into a tree, this was of of the Training rooms where highborn would train their young to be the greatest of all.
The brown wooden floors and walls were illuminated glazed over by the golden shine of the sun that broke through.
Many a wolf who came here had a plan, to advance their own martial prowess or to sharpen up the geniuses who were already in attendance.
Many were sparring in their own areas, but one was getting most of the attention.
One girl looked extremely magnificent amongst the already nice scenery.
A slim but well built girl push stepped over them, her steps full of grace and lazy arrogance. Her claws extended as she walked over to the remaining girls and boys, who had now paused momentarily.
"What are you waiting on? I was of the opinion that my father was going to send the best at me, but I may have been mistaken."
After being mocked in such a manner, one young man ran up, and two girls after him. He made a swing for her face that was parried by Ariel left hand.
She took a half step forward, getting directly in front of the man's face. His eyes were wide and his brows lifted at first, one could only imagine his thoughts when a fist came crashing into his stomach.
As he was sent tumbling, both of the girls had swung at her from the sides. With ungodly speed, she went upward. Leaping above their reach, bends her knee before shoving her foot into one of the woman's chests, making a springboard of it.
As the final girl looked upward in horror, Ariel began circulating power to one singular point. Yellow energy flows directly into right hand.
As she lands, a ball of energy is formed in her hand. It glistens and shimmers like a crystal, except volatile and ready to burst."I can shoot this at you…or you can go on about your day."
The young lady stood there a moment before looking at the man behind Ariel, her father.
Renly. Ariel could tell and was already aggravated.
She quickly blocked him from her field of view. "Don't forget who is in front of you."
Before the lady is able to give an answer, a man pats her on her shoulder. "You have done well, and it's alright for you to go. You won't die I promise, her dad isn't that scary."
With two people permitting her absence, the lady quickly got up and left.
The young man, dashing and arrogant, with a calm demeanor and a nice voice. Ariel would have liked him, but it was obvious that she was an object of his desire.
His eyes had wandered in her direction for a while now, and didn't leave over the past day a half she was here.
"Lionel darmer. Why are you here?" Ariel said as she pinched her snout.
He tiles his head and placed a hand on his chest. "My lady, I simply wish to have a spar with you. I've heard from many about your presence and your strength, seeing you up close and speaking to you is an honor."
Ariel was physically stopping herself from rolling her eyes. This was why she didn't talk to many highborn, especially not new ones.
"I'm…pleased to meet you as well. You say you wish to spar? Please forgive my impatience."
She then got low before taking off she rant to him, almost in a frenzied sprint. Lionel was surprised, barely having the time to guard as a punch came and shook his whole arm.
Watching his arrogant calm face shift to one of focus was satisfying, but Ariel kept calm. This was not a pushover.
She didn't attack with full force and yet Lionel still stopped the blow without stumbling back. Taking advantage of this, Lionel stepped forward and went for a grab.
He stepped where her foot was, but the moment he tried to place his feet, Ariel moved hers backwards, grabbing the boy and taking fistfulls of his fur before slamming him onto the leafy floor.
a few of the staff had been shocked. Many had not returned to their posts.
"That is enough. Good, very good the both of you." Renly had gotten up from his seat, picking up Lionel.
"You are something aren't you boy. My daughter was just too much." Lionel got up, shaking the clear bitterness written all over his expression.
"I agree, she is just too strong. I'll try again after I've learned a think or two."
Ariel tilted her head up. "Come back any time you need. You won't beat me, but watching you try, will be fun."
The boy nodded, not looking at her anymore.
'Don't blame me bastard. You just weren't as talented.'
He tried to use a fight to get closer to her, it wasn't exactly her fault that It didn't work out.
"My daughter, you truly are a genius. You can use aura and mana? A one of one talent, at least here."
As her father walked up to her, she turned her head around to ignore him. She did not have time. She sent them already, and the lack of information was killing her. It would take days to report back.
