But, before they could converse more about it, the beautiful petals of the flower slowly started to turn brownish in colour as if they were losing their life.
Synthia got up quickly, staggered back slightly as her eyes started to fill up with tears.
"Did I make it like that?" She said, her voice was low.
Leon kept his hand on her shoulder, and a warm smile appeared on his face. "No, senior. Maybe it's one of their defensive mechanisms, so don't think about that and wipe your tears."
She started weeping, but then raised both of her hands and wiped the tears from her eyes with the back of her hand.
He started moving once again, his steps were low and deliberate, and his voice came low. "Let's keep moving, we don't have a lot of time on us."
She gave a small nod, taking a deep breath as she started walking behind him once again.
